Pros:

Makes it easy to ship packages. It connects with your website to go ahead and pull your orders in and helps to make it easier to ship.

Cons:

Costs have gone up and options are limited. The cost to ship items have increased a lot and some options have been removed to go ahead and ship so makes it tougher to pick a carrier.

Shippo has destroyed their product by their stopping immediate chat help!

good up until they remove chat help! I'm currently having to look for another shipping partner.

sync with our online Square store orders

Cons:

Shippo's removal of immediate chat help. it is no good to have to a day to resolve an issue! our customers demand timely shipping!

Reasons for switching to Shippo

Shippo offered better shipping prices. Square's real-time shipping quotes never worked correctly for us and Square couldn't fix it.

Pros:

It is so easy to fill out the form and see what my best shipping options are. Once I have printed my shipping label I can request pick up from USPS. It makes shipping so much easier than it used to be.

Cons:

I've had numerous added charges for shipping. USPS saying the package weighed more than I entered. I know this happens but the charges are from months ago (sometimes 4 to 5 months later). So it is hard to follow ups on.

Shippo is great but better when it was free for unlimited labels.

Was great until they changed and limited the free service. Now I use less intuitive and speedy services for most of my shipping.

Excellent interface. Good customer service when I did have issues.

Cons:

It was free for unlimited labels (extra features did cost more but I only needed the basics) and then they switched to only 30 per month for the free service. I still use those 30, but then switch to other clients for the rest of the month. I hope this changes back.

Reasons for choosing Shippo

I do use other products simultaneously with Shippo. It is not ideal. Shippo was my favorite until they limited free accounts to 30 labels which is less than I need, but not enough that I am willing to pay when other options are still free.

Reasons for switching to Shippo

Shippo let me track everything together, and let me charge a credit card for my labels instead of coming from my sales funds. This was better for cash flow reasons because I could capture rewards on the credit cards.

Pros:

Shippo is very affordable and easy to use. Their customer service is eager to help out if there are any website problems or syncing problems and can be reached at any time. We have never had a problem using this software.

Cons:

There are virtually no problems with this company or its software. We have used them for about 2 years and we will continue to use them if their pricing stays affordable.

Reasons for switching to Shippo

Stamps.com did not have all of the different shipping options that Shippo had for our business and their pricing was higher than Shippo. They also did not sync our order directly into their program.

Pros:

I love that I can ship orders from several of my on-line stores form one location. My orders from Etsy and my own websight automaticly get sent to Shippo so I can prepare my shipping label and packing slip from one spot.

Cons:

Sometimes I want to refund partial shipping cost to a customer if it cost less to ship then they were charged. I see no where I can do it from the Shippo sight so I still have to go back to Etsy or my sight and prepare their refund.

Paypal was hard to work with and shipping was more then from Shippo

Forget the others... Shippo is my go to!

I have loved doing my order fulfillment with Shippo. Having a platform that could show me my options for carrier/speed/rate is extremely helpful and it allows us to very seamlessly fulfill orders for our customers! 10/10 recommended to anyone shipping packages!

- integration with Shopify - option to default export as 4x6 labels (Perfect for my Dymo 4XL printer) - easy to use interface - customize packing slip with logo - competitors often have ugly branding on the shipping label, but Shippo elegantly has a cute hippo!

Cons:

- modifying the packing list in Shippo is available in some cases, but often when I needed it, it was disabled. - the verification process for new account sign ups currently has a manual verification via email with customer service representatives which could be automated.

I thoroughly researched and tested alternative products for our e-commerce venture and Shippo by far surpassed their competitors and my expectations!

Retiree Shipping From Home

Being retired I love that I can ship from home with your super good rates. I buy and sell online and you have the best choice of shippers and rates.

I like the easiness. And the competitive pricing. I like to ship from home without having to go somewhere else. I love the competitive choices of how to ship and how much to spend. I can print and ship any time day or night.

Cons:

I would like to be able to get an estimate based on zip codes and package size before I commit a name and address.

A Great Shipping Software for Multiple Carriers in One Place

I use this to ship products from my online store. Shippo integrates with many retail sites to import sales and shipping info to limit manual mistakes. I integrate it with a Wix store.

Pros:

I like that I can purchase shipping for USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc. all in the same place. I get discount rates and quick replies from email support.

Cons:

I don't exactly like seeing the Shippo logo on shipping labels, however, I use Acrobat to remove that and put my company's logo on the shipping labels instead.

Reasons for switching to Shippo

I wasn't thoroughly impressed with the support from Stamps.com. Shippo provides the same rates as Stamps.com and also has other shipping carrier options.
