Reliable Antivirus for Comprehensive Protection

Our experience with ESET has been great since it is easy to use, does not cause the system to slow down, and provides protection against a broad range of threats. We have not dealt with system security challenges since we switched to ESET.

Pros:

I like ESET because it is easy to set up, adjust security settings, and navigate through. It protects our systems against malware, viruses, spyware and other malicious programs and sends alerts on time. I also like real-time scanning and email filtering, which assure security and peace of mind.

Cons:

ESET works quietly in the background, which sometimes makes us wonder if it is up and running. Scans sometimes take too long especially if you have many files. We have experienced a few cases of false alerts when dealing with safe files from known sources.

Best Virus Guard for me

I have started using an anti virus software 10 years back and with the time I moved to many different anti-virus software. Within first 8 years, I faced many problems regarding malware infections and those time I was working in a government organization too. So data protection was a big problem for me and for my company. Finally we decided to move to Eset antivirus software and I'm really happy to say that it has never failed so far. We have never found any negetive thing related to eset and it has been doing a great job so far. I'm really satisfied with my experience because there was a time there are no cloud spaces to save sensitive data and I was really afraid of data protection. I have been using eset for 2+ years and I would like to recommend anyone who is eagier to use a flawless anti-virus software.

Few years back viruses and malware infection was one of the main problems we faced in the organization and among those, downloads from internet and removable media were the main ways that computers got infected. So there was a big problem keeping data safe because viruses can damage files, steal data and monitor sensitive information. Keeping data in physical files was a nightmare. Also some software gave us false alarms that it identified non-malicious file as malware. Also most of the anti-virus software that we used are degrade performance of the computer so most of the employees used to disable virus protection. With the time anti-virus software got improved but still some are not performing well. None of those different anti-virus software worked the way I wanted. With the experience of using different anti-virus software for years, finally our company decided to move to Eset two years back. The best thing about eset is it does not degrade performance while scanning for threats. The interface has a clean, bright look and all are well organized. For me eset is within my budget. Eset runs in the background smoothly without bothering me to do actions. Also it scan USB drives immediately when they are plugged into the PC. From the installation and setup process everything is easy and no need to struggle with any step.

Cons:

I don't have any serious issue while using eset and I can recommend anyone eset as the most stable and effective anti-virus software.

Reasons for switching to ESET Endpoint Security

I used different anti-virus software before using eset and McAfee is one of them. It consumes a lot of memory, whether it's during the scan or real time protection and because of that machines' performance got degraded and it became a big issue for the company. Also the memory usage is high during the scan time and we had to leave the machine alone till the scan completed. Since there are some performance issues bind with McAfee we decided to move to Eset.

Pros:

I find ESET works very well for our company and we've used it for over seven years. It's affordable and it works very well. It's also much lighter and doesn't slow down our computers. We use it for our office computers and at home computers. It's nice having the added security (opens a secure window) when it detects something that needs higher security like opening a bank website.

Cons:

Not any cons I can think of honestly. We are a small studio of under 10 staff so it was great for us. If you are a large firm then one of the more established companies may be better for you.

Norton was very heavy and we noticed a slow down of our machines.

We wouldn't use anything else

We have been a very happy customer since NOD32 so has been a while. In that time as an MSP, we have had no customer suffering any of the many threats that EST protects against. For this simple reason, we wouldn't use anything else.

Pros:

ESET is quick to install and doesn't use massive system resources. There is an extensive amount of configuration settings covering any setup you could imagine.

Cons:

I cannot find any Cons for this product in operation. It could be a little cheaper as has always been at the higher price level for comparable software.

Robust and reliable security suite for protection against a wide range of threats. Unobtrusive interface and notifications with great performance. Easy to install and manage licenses. Regular automated scans, product and definition updates. Also easy to run manual scans and updates if needed. Helpful customer support.

Cons:

No significant negatives to report - start up scans can cause slowdown in older tech, but that's to be expected and I've dealt with much more memory intensive / disruptive security software.
