Heimdal Next-Gen Endpoint Antivirus relies on signature-based code scanning. The feature allows you to perform file scans actively in the background in real-time. Or, if you think that something suspicious is happening, you can run scheduled or on-demand scans for your endpoints and detect any unlawful activity.
In addition to signature-based code scanning, Heimdal Next-Gen Endpoint Antivirus also performs real-time cloud scanning. Pros:

The ease of use, but also the level of support. I have never experienced such a good support as with Heimdal. They are fast and 100% of the questions are answered in a way that I like.

Cons:

The pricing is a bit vague. I would rather buy a product with all functionality in it instead of having to buy a licnse for each particular part of the software. I get always the feeling that I am missing functionality because of that.

At the beginning the pricing was interesting, but also the support was very good. Short lines to support and prompt answers to our questions. We were one of the first to implement Heimdal and therefore also took a risk with it. But after 4 years we are still there !

I was not satisfied about the old product. WE have had several Ransomware attacks while having this product.

First of all, for a free trial/free product, this is one of the most complex ones. I had paid products that do not offer so much even if they were paid. Also, the support for the free trial/free product is there even if you did not both it.

Cons:

As of now I do not have any issues to report regarding the product. All in all a good product.
