Good Value for Assessments

Pros:

Makes creating assessments available for small busienss owners with limited capital resources for softawre solutions

Cons:

The UX is not ideal and does not allow you to customize the look and feel as much as other programs (Typeform for example is gorgeous and offers slick navigation espeically on mobiel). Also the limited number of assessments aviallbe per tier is prohibitive. I would use the tool more if the pricing was more amenable to a business of my size for this type of tool. Also the backend of editign assesmnts and changing questisn is a bit clunky and we have had to rewrtie some asessments from scratch once we realized in tesing that it did not perform the way would like it to.

ability to create assessments that create assessments that would automatically be scored and provide results to on demand/remote users - Google Forms does not do this and Typeform was cost prohibitive in this regard.

Your comments are very helpful in that regard. We welcome your feedback on the pricing and limitations of the various tiers in our software. If you don't need all of your assessments at the same time, you might consider disabling some that aren't being actively used. Disabled assessments don't count toward your account limits. I'm sorry that you've had to re-do work because you weren't able to make the changes you needed through our user interface. Best client service of any vendor I've used

It's been an amazingly easy partnership, and I say that because whenever I've had questions or further needs, they're extremely responsive and even added a feature based on my feedback!

Pros:

I like that it's customizable to what I needed it to do, which is to create both a quiz and a separate scored assessment. It buckets respondents into customized categories, which can then connect through Zapier to my email marketing platform for customer segmentation. I'm also able to view reports of the outcomes for each respondent and set up separate client buckets so that multiple people from one organization can take the assessment. Plus, the customer service provided by the company is second to none!

Cons:

It was a bit tough to understand how to use at first, so I hired the company to build out a complicated assessment. That was the best decision I'd made since they knew exactly what I needed it to do and built it in a short period of time.

Really great tool

I wanted to produce a questionnaire that would enable me to deliver a scorecard of results directly to my client. I was struggling to find a way to automate the report delivery on my budget. Assessment Generator does it. The interface is great and really easy to use but the editor isn't much fun for a non-coder like me. It's not as sexy as some other tools like Typeform either. It's more functional than pretty. The support has been great though.

It's simple to use and automates the delivery of a report really well, which saves me from creating reports manually.

Cons:

The editor is hard to use and it doesn't have the feel of a modern interface. I'd love to see more creativity in the reporting options and an easier-to-use editor.

Typeform can't automate report delivery without spending a lot more on other apps.

Having previously tried 3 other iterations from competitors only to get frustrated in either lack of useability, functionality or ease of use, I 'stumbled' across Assessment Generator. At first, I was hesitant and rather sceptical, yet [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] quickly put me at ease. The software does exactly what it claims to, and very well. It's relatively easy to use, there is plenty of help and advice available, and the customer services team are quick to respond and exceptional in the quality of service. Overall I'm delighted with both the product and service and now looking for other ways I can make even more use of the tools available.

Cons:

At first, I was a little uncertain as to how to set it up to do what I want. Some of the terms used to describe elements are not as straight forward as they could be. BUT, there are plenty of explainer tools available, and customer service is both quick to respond and thorough in support.

The others couldn't offer me the functionality I was seeking without having to ADD ON additional software, with additional cost and continually broke!

Lack of functionality and constant updates which broke 'Zap' Api when linking with other software

Easy to use and packed with features

I am primarily using this as a lead magnet to introduce people to my new product and although I haven’t launched yet, initial tests with conference users has given me a lot of confidence

When I was looking for an assessment tool, I wanted one that would allow me to create ‘types’ within my assessment, for example options for personality types and EQ categories. Only Assessment Generator was able to do this easily. Creating questions and question types was incredibly easy.

Cons:

The inability to place the ‘legend’ after each question or to be able to label each category of score

AG was packed with useful, customisable features such as item customisation, report customisation etc

Excellent software, especially for type assessments. It provides great ease of use for my clients. Plus, the company continues to upgrade the platform as technology evolves. Customer service is always responsive to my needs.

Cons:

I can't turn off the scoring in a couple of my assessments that have no meaning to my clients. It creates a small level of confusion with them. That's because I use some type assessments that don't provide an immediate solution without my review and feedback.
