One of the features I like most about Wrenly is its anonymous feedback.

Cons:

I found every feature working pretty well so far but as with any other tool, there are some areas for improvement like its limited customization, learning curve, and integration challenges.

Great for Collaborative Recognition Boards

It was easy to use, and the free version suited us well for what we needed. It was easy to collaborate on the project as a team, while also keeping it a secret from the person we were surprising. I would continue to use this service over services like kudosboard.

We had a staff member leaving, and they didn't want to do a going away event. We had used kudosboard in the past with students, so I wanted to do something similar for them. Wrenly provided a free option for us to add in our own images, videos and words of encouragement. I love that we could create a recognition board for free.

Cons:

I don't know that there were any cons with the way we were using it. It allowed us to all collaborate together and add our own messages. While the free version worked for what we needed, it would be challenging to get approval for a paid subscription, because we have internal platforms for some of the features.

Reasons for switching to Wrenly

It didn't look like there was a free option anymore for a recognition board.

I like Wrenly

Quickly, you can find all the emotions and groups in one place. The most important thing is that it integrates with Slack, since you don't have to leave one app to find another and make reviews.

Easy to write and publish. I just published it, and I really liked that I can add several people to one review; it saves me time and allows me to thank several people at the same time.

Cons:

mmm more emojis. I was advertising, but they should leave more options to choose from when I finish a review.

Fun, intuitive, and chalk-full of cool features!

The "Create Meme" function was an immediate WOW, YES PLEASE moment for me, that I've never seen on any similar platforms before. As an avid meme connoisseur surrounded by avid meme consumers (along with the fact that memes sometimes convey messages much better than text or gifs), I immediately knew that I would be able to express myself fully, no matter what the occasion.

Cons:

Frankly, I've found nothing troublesome so far.

Reasons for switching to Wrenly

It wasn't my decision as I was never involved in that part of work in our company, but I was told that this is a much more cost-effective option.

Easy and impactful way to celebrate someone!

I really appreciated the nice graphic layout and options for color and customization. The boatf was quick to set up and I encountered no problems while using it. I will definitely be using wrenly again in the future. The recipient was moved to tears while reading everyones comments and he has shared he went back and reread the messages.

Wrenly gave me a quick and accesible way for many people to contribute to a celebration board. Everyone i sent the link to was able to effortlessly submit their poat and attach their images. Many of the people i sent the link to created cutom images to attach and it made the board feel so special and unique.

Cons:

I had no issues with wrenly at all. It would be fun if there was a way to add an animation that pops up before it shows the board that you could customize with the recipients name, what the celebration is about etc.

Reasons for switching to Wrenly

Kudoboard was too expensive for the amount of usage i would have gotten from it.

Amazing Customer Service and FREE to Use!

Amazing customer service! I was struggling with accidental posts and the inability to edit or delete them, and I kept having to create new boards. Thankfully, I got in touch with the customer service team, and they were very quick to solve my problem. Honestly, their customer service has made me loyal.

Pros:

This is literally just as great as Kudoboard, except it's FREE. It's hard to convince a workplace to pay for a service (like Kudoboard) a happy birthday, but it really goes a long way for collegiate support and morale. This is the perfect solution to keep it free and accessible, allowing people to celebrate, offer sympathy, and more to their colleagues without needing to pay their own way to make it happen. It also doesn't have any ridiculous advertisements and annoying pop ups like other "free" sites include.

Cons:

At the beginning, there were issues with people not being able to edit their post. After connecting with the customer service folks, they were able to help solve all the issues (and I believe this is already fixed permanently on the systems end).

Didn't want to pay personal money to create boards for birthdays

My new Go To

It was a great option for us to be able to appreciate and honor our staff for an underutilized appreciation day. It was easy for folks to fill out, easy to set up and create, and it was well loved.

Great Alternative to Kudoboard

easy to use with the exception of its a bit of a confusing process to add/edit or go to the kudoboard at first. Once you learn it, its fine, but I didn't find it overly intuitive at the beginning. I was expecting maybe a dashboard or something
