The primary features of The Receptionist for iPad are visitor logs, visitor badges, visitor notifications, via SMS, email, Slack, and Microsoft Teams and two-way communication with visitors. The broadcast notifications feature allows you to message anyone currently checked into the workplace with important safety or maintenance information.

The Receptionist for iPad offers legal agreement signing, delivery management, visitor photo capture, and the ability to create personalized workflows for various visitor types. The solution offers hardware features, such as iPad, floor or desk stand, enclosure, mounting hardware, and badge printers. These can be bundled with the solution depending on the plan purchased. It also complies with industry standards ITAR, C-TPAT, FSMA, and PCI.

Users can also personalize the appearance of the application and include in-app branding. The Receptionist for iPad is based on an annual and monthly subscription basis that includes support via email, phone, and through website chat and an online knowledge base.

        LISA The Receptionist

        We do not have a permament receptionist at the factory. This job was givin to the customer service team who doen't have the time nor the joy to do it all the time... especially in a pendemic situation. The Receptionist software allowed us to automate the visitors and employees management experience. We no longer use the traditional paper log visible to everyone who visit the factory. We also increassed the security and health of our visitors and employees by using the touchless login.

        We named our software LISA (Log In System Autonomous). What I like about this software is the simplicity to configure it to my specific needs despite it's limitations when it comes to foreign languages and multiple work shifts. Our factory is in the Fench province of Quebec CANADA. Once you figure out what it can and cannot do, you work around it and it does the job.
        Cons:
        The foreign language option is limited.. meaning you have to personally sellect and translate all the text (painful). The other thing missing is the ablility for the visitor to phone call the person you want to meet with via The Receptionist... you need to use a third party application and if you aren't familiar with it yet... you will need the help of their customer support. That been said, when it works it is great and LISA The Receptionist comes to life.

        Reasons for choosing The Receptionist for iPad

        I choose The Recptionist because it was simple to use and to configure during the trial period. What really signed me on was their customer service... they called it "Radical Customer Service" and let me tell you it is. If you need help... no matter what someone will get in touch with you before you hang-up. They are that good and it makes a big difference when you are in another Country and need help right away. I strongly recommend The Receptionist to anyone who's looking to automate their visitors and employees management experience.

        IT works for us!

        The Receptionist notifies us via email when a client has arrived. It eliminates clutter in the hallways and having to run back forth to the lobby to see if someone has arrived.

        This software is easily customizable to your practice and very easy to use. It is definitely less expensive than other products on the market.
        Cons:
        There are plenty of features on this software that I feel we may be paying for that are never used. I'd love if we had the option to drop price if not using some of these features.

        Gets The Job Done

        We wanted to do away with receptionists at our Corporate office, so we replaced that functionality with the iPad receptionist app. It's worked reliably for us, for the most part. The updates are highly manual, but that's usually not an issue. It took a few months for everyone in the office to get used to it, but here we are two years later still using it. Will probably replace this solution with a custom MS PowerApp at some point.

        The portal interface can be mastered in a couple hours. There really isn't much investment needed to learn everything about the product and get your account up and running. Great customer service.
        Cons:
        The actual options of this application are minimal. I've found myself on more than one occasion "hacking" together a solution based on the options available.

        This application is very light and can be installed easily. It is a very simple application using which we can track visitors and also check who is expected to visit on a particular day

        Best "remote" receptionist there is!

        Its been fun and easy to use for both our clients and myself. We don't have a receptionist yet, because our office isn't set up that way. However, this is great to use because our clients can sort of help themselves until someone comes out to assist them.

        I love that we can make this extremely customizable so that the clients feel like they're truly getting taken care of and not just another number. The check in process is super important because that's like a first impression, so I love how we can customize it to certain visitors.
        Cons:
        Pricing is a bit off to me. I think we wish there was the ability to have a Basic package for employee contacts over 24. We have about 30 or so, but don't need everything that Premium offers. Premium is the next level up in order to include over 24 ppl.

        I love this product. Super simple to set up, customize, change/update, and manage. A real great 'set it and forget it' kind of product.
        Cons:
        While i'm not 100% sure it has anything to do with the app, sometimes when a guest is typing in their name the keyboard goes completely crazy and makes it difficult. While not really a 'con' per se, but a feature request would be to have it make a phone call, announcement over a PA or maybe a prerecorded message, or something similar. Maybe relay it through Twilio or something similar?

        Easy to Set-up and Easy to Update - Perfrect for waht we needed!

        We've been using the iPad receptionist (the receptionist in a box set-up) for over a year now. It was supper easy to set-up and has been very easy to update and add to. It's perfect for our sometimes unmanned lobby!

        We like most that it is able to keep a directory of all of our employees and then when a visitor comes in it sends them a text message that they are here.
        Cons:
        The app has crashed a few times but other than that we have not had many issues with the software itself.

        Easy to set up, does exactly what I need

        Couldn't be easier to set up and use. We're a small company, need to minimize the distraction of people showing up to meet with one of us. This app makes it extremely easy to do that, and it's a really nice experience for visitors. I've also used it as a visitor at a couple of other places I frequently meet at in Denver - it's great!
