About Glisser

Glisser is an audience engagement solution that helps organizations manage virtual meetings, live events, courses and more. The audience Q&A and live polling modules enable users to raise queries, give feedback and visualize opinions, among other collaboration activities.

Glisser allows attendees to remove and download slide-specific digital notes while streaming live presentations. It enables users to customize the platform as per business requirements by adding logos, colors, themes and more. Administrators can configure permission rights, passwords and unique identifiers, restricting users to access specific sessions or the entire event. Additionally, the audience lottery functionality lets presenters set up prize incentives for respondents across surveys or post-session feedback forms.

Glisser facilitates integration with several third-party learning management systems (LMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) solutions. Pricing is available on request and support is extended via live chat, phone, documentation and other measures.

I used Glisser for the first time very last minute as we had a large audience to interact.

Pros:

Despite very little time to learn the program, I found it incredibly easy to use. We ran an event with 150 people seamlessly, the audience gave very positive feedback for the sessions.

Cons:

The free trial version would be better if it was full featured for a period of time. Being exposed to the metrics and additional data capture in real use is more convincing than just reading about it as a feature.

Pros:

gets audience involved, live results, keeps audience engaged, plug-in for PowerPoint is easy to use

Cons:

Format will not match the PPT presentation. If not using the plug-in, cannot rearrange slides or edit the presentation easily from the website. Users must enter their email addresses to use.

Depending on the content being shared, certain presentations required larger bandwidths than others so using a hardwire connection minimises any delays in content sharing and can prevent any slow loading or crashing. If wifi is the only option, our Customer Success team is always happy to provide insight into recommended bandwidths based on the size of your presentation.

It’s interactive with the classroom. The content is able to be saved. You can have polls in the materials. The lecturer still controls the content.

Live audience polls during presentation!

Pros:

I enjoy how it's capable of doing audience polls during presentations, super handy! The polling system always works great. It is also capable of taking questions from the audience which helps to keep the presentation rolling. Glisser is easy to use and everyone in the audience doesn't have to download the software nor sign up for anything, just need to use the web.

Cons:

Everything worked great during the presentations! Nothing to report on the negative side.

My audience was amazed by the unique group polling software.

My students were able to ask questions anonymously, so they got the attention they needed from a large lecture without feeling embarrassment.

Pros:

I like the feature to make the words used most big. I think the best part was that the students using the software had such a fun time seeing which words were used most in the questions.

Cons:

It's a little hard to navigate how to set it up. If it could look more like Kahoot! that would be helpful.
