Excellent competitor to Zapier and outright replacement for Lotus Domino.

The main problem we are addressing is the replacement of Google App Maker. It was a great platform and it was disappointing and frustrating when Google made the decision to decommission the product, and until discovering GW Apps we've had to direct users to using App Script or Zapier as the alternatives.

Pros:

With Google sunsetting its competing platform in Google App Maker, I have had the opportunity to work with several clients in creating in place replacements for workflows using GW Apps. Overall, I like it much better than I did Google App Maker and I find it much easier to use and deploy than options like Zapier. The documentation is excellent, and while I rated customer support highly, I've not actually had to interact with anyone from support due to the excellent knowledgebase.

Cons:

I didn't like that the approval of applications by IT isn't a default setting, but it was easy enough to go and change the setting. Now it's a standard action whenever I assist a customer with setting up their new Google environment in conjunction with GW Apps.

GW App Admin | App Builder Perspective - GW Apps has given our organization the ability to evolve and push customer change requests to our applications within minutes. The responsive click-and-drag concept is well developed. This makes our no-code developer's applications look like it was produced by our Sr. Back End Developers. Business Perspective - After a year + of testing multiple Low-Code | No-Code platforms. GW Apps provides our organization with a peace-of-mind knowing that we own the data; not just an export of our data. With this concept, our organization fully controls all data within our Cloud Platform; while using GW Apps, as the front-end for our team. Security Analysis Perspective - GW Apps allows robust provisioning tools which allow our team to assign roles based off of groups, workflows, methods of access, stages in where data lives, and more. GW Apps platform supported our benchmarks for the 'National Institute of Standards and Technology' (NIST); bringing confidence to our auditors, clients, and team. End User Perspective - GW Apps in consistent with it's design layout. Because of this, a new app can be introduced to me and my colleges with fast adaptation and understanding in how the app functions and relates to the business.

Cons:

Being locked to a low-code | No Code app builder may bring limitation to heavy innovation if a command is not accessible to the platform. The GW Apps team has been most helpful in bringing temporary solutions and recommendations to our organization apps as we wait for these site-wide request to be considered, built and tested into the overall GW Apps Service offerings.

Reasons for choosing GW Apps

The alternative low-code no-code platforms lost our business due to pricing, ownership, and support. - GW Apps is perfectly priced providing our organization considerable financial gains based on their subscription model versus their competitive market. - GW Apps allows our organization to own and keep our data within our own cloud platform and in a commonly structured SQL Code giving our organization the ability to grow, and build unique applications, and APIs. - The GW Apps support team is the overarching reason on why we're a GW Apps client. Their response time, work ethics, and communication has been consistent since day one. When working with Brokers and Sales Executives, one may only feel important when the Broker or Sales rep needs your attention. GW Apps makes our entire organization feel well attended to with their support methodology.

Great no-coding app solution

I use it on a daily basis for time reporting on multiple projects, and at the end of every week, I just export my timesheets to and excel and produce an invoice. I think this is a great no-coding app solution which has more features than Google docs, and a much more pleasing UI.

Pros:

I found GW apps to be very easy to use and get up and running almost instantly. It has a couple of typical departmental app templates ready to go out-of-the-box, and making customizations was simple and intuitive. Someone with moderate computer skills would be able to use this and create their own apps and without writing a line of code. Once the app is built, you can access it from your phone browser with pretty much the same functionality. All around very useful product.

Cons:

I sometimes had issues logging in with Safari mobile browser. It doesn't seem to remember my username and password. This could also be due to Google's authentication, since I use my Gmail account for login.

Reasons for choosing GW Apps

I looked at other products and this was the one that I was able to get up and running with the fastest.

Amazing Software for Projects Management

Pros:

I have a sales team that covers 60 different locations a week; different rates, taxes, and commissions. The GW App offered a template that was simple to use, edit, and train people in.

Cons:

Turn around time for the software was not difficult, it was the flexibility needed to develop a customized software for the whole team. As our company grew our software has to be re-developed. A good problem to have.

Pros:

GW Apps is a great low-code platform for creating workflows. I use this platform daily to manage the companies forms, and have next to no issues with it.

Cons:

The only feature missing that I can think of is not natively being able to pull from APIs, etc. However, it does have an API built in that you can create and update records, which makes up for it.

Pros:

My work has me looking at forms all day and GW Apps has a sweet hack that lets me cut them down into tabs. It's genius. It saves me from scrolling endlessly and does amazing things for reporting data. Shout-out to [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] and the dream team for onboarding me and taking the time to listen and learn what I was looking for, and for their genius feature recommendations. This has made my workday at least 20% more efficient.

Cons:

No complaints here! Especially since my company's staff is all on the same page and using GW Apps to communicate between departments.

As soon as I signed up, the support team reached out to me and set up a call to go over my requirements. They were very patient and walked me through different options for my company's specific needs. It was very easy to get started and they are always very responsive.

Brilliant product with incredible customer support. We've been using GW Apps for a year and they keep adding new features (a lot of which we had asked for!). The team is more efficient and GW Apps helps us customize the system to get exactly what we need. Highly recommend!

Honestly, using GW Apps even once a week has saved my department so much time. The reports feature and customizable emails are a godsend. In addition, [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] and the team were very responsive and gave me a personal overview of the product. They listened carefully to my needs and requirements and suggested useful templates and features. I also asked for a calendar feature that didn't exist and they are currently in the process of adding it to the platform. Faultless customer service for a powerful and easy to use product!

Cons:

That it didn't have the calendar feature I needed. That said, the tech support team created the template of my dreams!
