    Their support is great. I've had dozens of questions and they always get back to me. And they send your payments super fast. Great experience overall.

    Flat rate pricing! Oh man, this is a breath of fresh air. After using stripe and square to process payments we have absolutely loved the simplified pricing structure that Fattmerchant uses. Only paying interchange fees and a fixed monthly rate saves us $100's each month.
    Cons:
    The integrations are weak. We've had to build a few workarounds to get fattmerchant to work with our tech stack but it's been worth it.

    Excellent at first, then just okay...

    Customer service is rarely necessary, but the few times we have needed assistance the results have been slow and frustrating responses.

    Simplicity, issues are rare, price seemed reasonable at first but moved from an untouchable rate to merely competitive within a few years.
    Cons:
    The flat monthly rate was very easy to understand, but the price just keeps jumping inexplicably year over year, more than double where it started five years ago. Classic case of opening with a good deal then taking advantage later.

    Easy to sign up but worst experience getting simple but critical technical issues. Support and leadership both have been disappointing ao far.

    Processing rates are competitive, even though they are higher than promised. Sales team was responsive enough.
    Cons:
    Support is extremely slow and incompetent to resolve critical issues even after 6 weeks of reporting. Even the leadership doesn't understand how much 'compliance violation' can hurt a merchant and Stax itself.

    Outstanding. I'm busy so when I find a service I can trust and not question their practices, I stick with them. We've been with Stax for longer than I can remember at this point, and I don't plan on going anywhere.

    We've been with them for years. Always great service. [sensitive content hidden] is fantastic! Clear, concise and explains things very well. I always get a follow-email to see if there is anything else I need from her which is great because I usually forget to ask her something! :)
    Cons:
    Nothing. It's the easy button where credit card processing is concerned. No one loves paying credit card fees, but since we have to, we're happy to have Stax.

    Overall, this interaction with customer support has been great. [sensitive content hidden] was very helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. That is not my normal experience with Stax Customer Service.

    Value for Money, Ease of use, and able to follow the payments. The product is great. We do not use invoicing but we have multiple ways to allow a customer to make payments and that is very helpful.
    Cons:
    The fact that our pricing goes up every quarter or six months it seems. Customer service leaves a lot to be desired on a regular basis. The answers we receive are not always consistent. We have had some unique problems that although we are told how to fix it, we get push back from the next person who helps us. Also, the fact that World pay can hold up a customer's refund is appalling. I am working with Stax not World Pay. If my customer wants a refund this should not take long, or I should not have to call and get it released. I have much more to say on this, but it is not the fault of [sensitive content hidden] who did a fabulous job today.

    Reasons for choosing Stax

    We liked the cost at the time and the promise of no increase in fees. That turned out to be a misrepresentation and a large number of the things promised were taken away when Fattmerchant changed to Stax.

    Reasons for switching to Stax

    This is not the correct product, it was Chase Payment Processing but did not have this as an option. We switched because we liked the interface and the cost, however, Chase had much better customer service.

    I think more customer service reps would be a good idea. Initially we were referred to Dejavoo and kept being disconnected, which was annoying.

    Easy to use, saving me tons of money on CC transaction fees monthly, any time I have a questions, someone helps immediately!
    Cons:
    I don't love that the cc processor cant be used unplugged but it is no biggie! No other complaints or problems!
