Firm360-Amazing Software

Overall it is a great product that is continually improving. I love how it's made for accounting firms. The features really make that obvious.

Pros:

Firm360 is a great way to make information accessible firm wide. Emails can be linked which allows other so see information if needed. You can create letter templates which allows you to mass send engagement letters. Can also manage workflow using projects and tasks. Many great features of this software!

Cons:

There are occasionally some glitches on the website, but the support staff is very quick to respond and fix issues. It doesn't handle email sync well when there are multiple emails tied to a client.

Our Firm Review

Sometimes when we e-mail with questions, we hate that it has to be assigned a work ticket and then we get an e-mail back saying go to this link to get more information or try this when what we really want is for someone to pick the phone up and give us a call. We feel like there is not alot of customer service real time interaction.

Pros:

We like that we can see at a glance on our dashboard what work we have assigned to us as it comes in and the appropriate staff check in the projects.

Cons:

The staff who have to scan the docs to Firm360 under the clients' accounts would like to have the option of using Folders on the Documents Tab to help organize the docs better...similar to what we had with another software company. I don't like that I can't run a better time entered report to calculate payroll hours to be paid. The staff doesn't like that when we print a tax return from one software program it doesn't talk to Firm360 to scan the TR doc directly to the clients' folders...that we have to save to desktop then scan to Firm360.

Reasons for choosing Firm360

The sales staff made it sound like a breeze to use, and we are finding out this is not the case.

Reasons for switching to Firm360

Trying to save money but have found out that it is not saving us any time...in fact, it has made our admin time increase due to the fact that we are not familiar with FIrm360's capabilities so we are stumbling along and trying to figure it out for ourselves. We also feel like our training time should have been re-visited after using the product for three to four months, especially since we bought the product close to a tax season.

We love Firm 360!

Overall, we are very satisfied with Firm 360. The small things we dislike are not deal breakers and the efficiency, data security and workflow support the software provides has transformed tax season for us from what it was five years ago. The other huge benefit is tech support is very responsive and quick to resolve issues and communicate back to us. Overall, we are a very satisfied customer and highly recommend them.

This software has been a game changer for our firm to help us ensure data security and gain efficiency in our firm.

Cons:

I wish they had a mobile app. Our clients struggle with using a mobile device for document upload. The end user experience trying to access and upload to the portal on a mobile device is poor.

Firm360 The right Software to run your Firm Efficiently

Pros:

You can tell that an accountant heavily influenced the program. Everything works as expected, and adoption and buy-in are very easy. All the data is presented in easy-to-use sections, and it has directly allowed us to provide superior customer service to our clients. The Project module and tasks allow employees and managers to keep track of workflow, budgets, and target due dates. We have used several Practice Management systems (Practice, CCH Axcess, Office Tools). When it was time to change, I researched many of the top ones in 2023. Firm360 was the best program by far.

Cons:

The weak part of this software is the billing. It seems as though it was an afterthought. It does the basics well; however, it is not very robust. There are many issues that were a step back for us as a firm. The customer service and support have been great, so we are hoping that over time, this part of the program will become stronger.
