About Heartland Payments+

Global Payments Inc. (NYSE: GPN), a leading worldwide provider of payment technology and software solutions, announced the unification under a single brand. Heartland, a Global Payments company, previously offered a suite of solutions, which is now Global Payments.

Heartland offers a payment processing solution that includes functionality for mobile, online, and bill payments.

Heartland integrates with most point-of-sale systems, and a mobile app is available for iOS and Android phones and tablets. The Mobile Pay app and Mobile Reader accept EMV chip cards, contactless (Apple Pay/Google Pay), magstripe, cash and checks. Ecommerce merchants can set up an online portal for ordering, selling products and collecting consumer payments. Bill payment is available for businesses such as medical practices, local government, utility providers, and more.

Heartland supports hundreds of payment options with fair pricing and full disclosure of fees and agreement terms. A supported hosting service is also available for securely storing customer account information.

The Best Payment Service: Heartland !

My overall experience with them is was executed properly and was on point every payment i had received was on time and was secured by the 64 bit encryption layer . Iam extremely happy with the customer service they have provided and the service charges are minimal. So we are happy.

The best Service to receive payments they doesn't work on traditional payments, they have a dedicated server and they have a proper Integration with security services for proper payment related Transactions. The best thing about them is they are prompt and very trusted Along with best customer service

Cons:

Nothing my experience with them was just amazing so no issues.

Pros:

Heartland Merchant View becomes simple to use once you get familiar with it. The payment platform is not complicated for our applicants to process payments.

Cons:

There are times when we need assistance from customer service to locate a transaction. The response can be somewhat delayed, but the representatives are attentive and helpful.

Heartland is a well reliable payment system

Pros:

I like Heartland payment because many users like me, find the interface intuitive and user-friendly, which helps with transaction management and reporting, including features like instant funding and 24/7 support if referenced in pricing packages,invoices and issues. Heartland payment is a valuable resource.

Cons:

With how well I have used heartland payment I don’t have any issues so far but I will likely say that it’s helpful for reliability and broad industry acceptance, And reports of unannounced rate increases, extra monthly fees, and discrepancies between quoted and actual charges appear in multiple merchant reviews, and lastly customer support needs an improvement.

Do not use

It's horrible the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. There are ways you can save money but they do not proactively reach out and tell you that.

The system is a complete pain in the rear. Codes expire too fast. They are quick to take your money but not tell you how to save money

Cons:

I have been a long-time customer of Heartland Payment Systems, using both their payroll and merchant services for over ten years across two companies In October 2024, One Company officially went out of business and was closed with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors. At that time, I canceled my payroll services after the year-end processing and also canceled my merchant credit card processing account for that company. Despite the business closure, Heartland continued billing me for merchant services — over $300 per month — even though the account was inactive and no credit card transactions occurred. When I contacted Heartland for assistance, I was told they could not locate my account due to a misspelled name, and I was given no resolution. Once the found it I was basically told it was too bad so sad. It defies logic that a business would cancel payroll, close its ROC license, and stop operations — yet continue to pay for unused merchant processing services for an entire year.

For better customer service which did not end up being the case.

Heartland Payment Systems is a solid choice for businesses looking for reliable and secure payment processing solutions. With great customer service, security features, and customizable options, it’s ideal for medium to large businesses that need a robust system.

Pros:

I like heartland payment because it offers a variety of payment solutions, including credit and debit card processing, mobile payments, e-commerce solutions, and even gift card programs, Heartland has a strong reputation for customer service.

Cons:

What I like least about heartland is that it’s not Ideal for Small, Simple Businesses, it is a great solution for businesses of all sizes, some small businesses with basic payment needs might find the service a bit over complicated or more issues to consider.

18 years later, still happy

I had several very bad experiences with Woodforest bank, the first credit card bank I dealt with. I had just started my business and there were a lot of issues I had no experience with. I switched from Woodforest to Heartland years ago, I never changed to another bank although I have been contacted many times.

Pros:

Your customer service is excellent, I have never had a problem with your associates. I have been a customer since 1996. Your rates are higher than some, but I know you are trustworthy and easy to contact.

Cons:

We used to have a rep in our area. That was a great benefit and very helpful. This service was discontinued a few years ago. I really miss the extra help and guidance they provided.

Heartland was reccommended by a business associate, also I was pleased with the Heartland reps I spoke to when I was considering transitioning. They were all professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Woodforest was the bank I left. It isn't in your dropdown menu

Terrible, unreliable service from both the Woodforest bank and my Woodforest rep.

Heartland payment is good and valuable

I won’t say heartland payment is cheap but it worth using if you can implement it in your business I will give them 5 stars

I like just two things about heartland payment the ease of tracking invoicing and transactions that they make

Cons:

When it get to drawing &design of heartland payment it lags a lot I had to start over and over again
