The program itself is good, but I wouldn't want to be a new user. It used to be possible to speak with someone easily to get assistance - now it is a nightmare

Cons:
The customer service. Heaven help you if you need to speak with someone or get any technical help!!! Make sure you can have your phone line available for a couple of hours wait!!

Definitely a positive experience using MYOB, have now switched to Xero but I miss the ease of use for Pay Bills and aged payables.

Use Xero instead

Terrible, I also use Xero and have had zero issues over the same time period with the same data. I will not recommend MYOB to anyone.

It looks nice but that is where anything good stops for MYOB.
Cons:
Every accountant I talk to advise not to use MYOB. I have now been locked out of my account for over a month with their system incapable of remembering logins requiring external apps which then don't work, have also been unable to share access to reports due to MYOB changing statuses without my knowledge.

Reasons for choosing MYOB Business

I have used Xero alongside MYOB for the same accounting with far better performance than MYOB

nothing. Absolutley nothing. I just can't say anything positive about it other than if you just want to do some simply invoices then yes it will work.
Cons:
It is very limited and very difficult to use. Almost as if it has been set up to frustrate you to upgrade to a higher product. Just getting basic reports is nigh impossible.

They forced me from accountedge on mac to online and accountedge/right doesn't work on mac.

However, syncing MYOB with other software, like Total Synergy, can sometimes be a bit challenging, which interrupts the otherwise smooth workflow. Despite these occasional hiccups, it’s an efficient solution for managing our finances.
