Thank you SS, you gave me back TIME!

SS is awesome. The program is easy to use, the customer service is top notch, and it truly gives me time back that I used to not have hand logging down all the vet records.

The ease of use and having one location for all health information in my barn.

Cons:

The thing I like lease is that it is pricey for your average barn manager, farm owner, trainer.

We try to keep prices as low as possible while not sacrificing on the maintenance, support, and development of new features for the product. We try to keep prices reasonable per horse, and have a variety of products and packages in the hopes that trainers can find one that fits their needs and budgets. We also do run specials, and have affiliated with USHJA and USEA to offer discounts to certified trainers within those organizations. We offer savings for nonprofits, law agencies, and educational institutions. If you have peers who are interested but find the cost prohibitive, please have them contact us to discuss. Fantastic Software

Using Stable Secretary has made managing my barn so much easier. When I first signed up, the customer support team helped me get set up quickly and answered all my questions with patience and clarity. Once I started using it, I was impressed by how intuitive and user-friendly it is — everything from tracking horse care to invoicing is simple and organized. It saves me so much time and is absolutely worth the cost for the convenience and peace of mind it provides. I am also so happy that there is an online and mobile version, so I can bring it with me into the stall if I need to make a quick note.

Stable Secretary has been a game-changer for managing my barn. It’s very user-friendly, making record-keeping and scheduling simple and organized. The customer service is excellent—always quick, friendly, and helpful. For the features and time it saves, it’s great value for money. Highly recommend!

Cons:

I really like using Stable Secretary — it’s easy to navigate, keeps everything organized, and the customer service is always responsive and helpful. It’s definitely worth the money for how much time it saves. The only small downside is that a few features take an extra click or two to find, which can be a bit annoying when you’re in a hurry. Still, that’s a minor issue compared to how well the system works overall. I’d definitely recommend it to any barn looking to stay organized.

Great tool for all horse people

User support is great to work with as well. They respond quickly and resolve issues in a timely manner. I would be lost without stable secretary to keep me organized

Pros:

I can keep all my horses organized and remember due dates. I can also tailor the categories to my needs. The reminder tab is great because you can sort by horse or type .

Cons:

App is not as user friendly as website, but its improving. Also had an issue with it taking out next due dates for coggins renewal after i edited the coggins.

StableSecretary is the heart of my process

I recently started helping a barn with office administration. StableSecretary is at the heart of everything! There is an ecosystem around show horses ranging from what is happening at home at the barn, to horse show prep and travel, vet and farrier schedules, and customer service. For me, StableSecretary is at the center of this ecosystem, helping to connect all the dots and helping me be as efficient as possible.

It helps me be more organized with everything behind the scenes at the barn - ranging from tracking vaccine dates and service records / expenses to invoicing. I also use all the contact information and horse info to complete entries for shows.

Cons:

I have not discovered any real cons yet! Like every system, I look for new ways to use it faster over time.

Stable Secretary is a must in any barn!

We have been using SS over five years maybe longer and I am appreciative to all the growth and changes they continue to make. I have been through a ton of lesson software's and this one has always been my staple program for management.

The flexibility to cover all services in my barn and equine specific.

Cons:

There isn't anything specific about SS I don't love. If anything, I would love more training on tips and tools I don't use and could be using. I do wish account balances and invoices posted to the clients login.

I like having the reminders in an email. The ongoing updates. The new social media has been great.

Cons:

I miss the reminders on the side of the home screen. Trying to keep up with new updated screens. It has its pros and cons.

Stable secretary has changed our lives!

Stable secretary has streamlined so many aspects of our documentation of our equine herd. We used to have everything on paper documents and there is no need for that anymore. We are able to have email prompts sent out to our assigned veterinarians for upcoming treatments and farrier appointments as well as so many individual details pertaining to each individual horse all in one place. I would highly recommend to anyone who want to have a seamless approach to organizing their herds.

Stable secretary has all of our Equine herd in one place and lets us request movement for the horses and keeps track of all of their veterinary needs, treatments and farrier appointments.

Cons:

I haven't found anything that I dislike about stable secretary to date, and i have been using the program for a few months now.

Our hunter/jumper barn (33) horses uses mostly the financial capabilities including recording all services, invoices, payments and reporting in all of these. We’ve used Stable Secretary for several years.

There have been some missing pieces for the Financial sections but these have been mostly resolved through software updates.

Record Keeping Made Easy

The best! The staff is always easy to work with and the app gives me everything I need to help my horses (and myself!).

I love being able to keep track of all of my appointments and tasks, and creating reminders. With four horses, it's easy to get confused by who gets what, but I'm able to keep track of everything much easier with Stable Secretary!

Cons:

Nothing, however I don't have a need for the tracking billable items, invoicing, payments, or team member features.
