Pros:

Appgate SDP provides a secure VPN connection which allow employees to access LAN based applications. This has allowed business continuity even for those working from home.Appgate pushes authentication codes upon login making it secure to use.It shows a list of entitlement each employee/user has access to.

Cons:

Appgate SDP is not easy to configure if you're a beginner or user with no IT knowledge.

Excelente herramienta de acceso remoto con alta seguridad

En nuestra organización con Appgate SDP pudimos resolver varios problemas de seguridad con los usuarios remotos, los cuales ahora están muy contentos porque desde la App ingresan directamente a sus sistemas.

- Los accesos son granulares, no permite accesos laterales, lo que es espectacular. - La herramienta permite configurar Alta Disponibilidad. - Seguridad perimetral desde el software. - Agiliza a los usuarios finales porque desde la propia App acceden a sus sistemas.

Cons:

- El costo me parece muy alto versus otras herramientas similares, pero pienso que la seguridad perimetral que ofrece lo vale. - En mi experiencia la conectividad no es muy estable en conexiones 3G de celulares en los que la conexión se corta mucho, la aplicación no queda en espera a que la conexión se establezca, sino que directamente se desconecta, obligando a conectarte cada rato.

Nos dejaban muchas brechas de seguridad, directamente al dar acceso accedian a todas las redes y sistemas.

Permite conectarse a la red interna de nuestra organizacion de manera segura, y con posibilidad de gestionar los accesos a distintas soluciones.

Cons:

La implementacion puede ser un poco tediosa para un usuario final, y su activasion a los accesos tambien, especialmente para usuarios no tecnicos.

Pros:

La facilidad de uso, y la facilidad con la que uno puede conectarse a los recursos en simultaneo, no necesito desconectarme de mi SDP para estar trabajando en 2 ambientes diferentes como por ejemplo mi Cloud y mi entorno On premise.

Cons:

Al principio puede ser un poco complicado entender el concepto de como funciona la herramienta ya que estamos muy acostumbrados a utilizar una VPN, pero esto es un concepto superior.
