About SqlBak

Use SqlBak to backup, restore and monitor MSSQL Server, MySQL Server, PostgreSQL Server, Azure SQL and Amazon RDS databases. There are Windows and Linux versions available.

SqlBak performs regular full, differential, incremental, and transaction log backups, and runs file/folder backups. The backups can be encrypted, compressed, and sent to multiple destinations for storing (local/network folders, FTP, cloud storage).

SqlBak sends emails if a job has failed or completed successfully and removes old backups automatically.

Look No Further, This Is the One!

It's a great tool that's given me significant peace of mind. It has saved me from data loss a couple times already and I know I can depend on it to keep my databases backed up and protected without me thinking about it. I've been using it for about 2 years now and plan to continue to do so for the foreseeable future. Truly a great product all around.

Pros:

SqlBak is very easy to set up and offers a variety of integrations and clients to connect to your servers which make it a breeze to get up and going regardless of what you are using. The web interface is very easy to use and understand. There's plenty of settings and customization without being overwhelming, and the available options for storing, encrypting, and moving data are fantastic! No matter your server, databases, or connection method, this has a solution for you.

Cons:

I have nothing negative to note. I've had small issues with clients configuration on my part but I was able to reach out to support and quickly get it sorted without issues.

SQL Database Managed Backup and Disaster Recovery

From initial contact, development, and ongoing customer service, SQLBAK have been amazing.

Pros:

I was tasked in finding a multi-site, multi-database backup tool that we could implement to 1000's of locations and give our operation a secure, managed, and safe database backup and recovery solution. SQLBak provides just this and in a simple but effective way.

Cons:

There is nothing we do not like about SQLBAK.

Reasons for switching to SqlBak

Cost and features, we wanted to target the SQL database's and not whole system images.

100% flawless solution for SQL backups on all types of platforms

This is a flawless system to provide data backups for multiple platforms and it just works! Easy to use, confident backups and I love how you can restore to different databases to test the backups.

I have been using SqlBak for several years now on multiple systems and it works flawlessly. I use it on in-house SQL and MariaDB database servers to back up several databases and it's so simple to set up and use that I really enjoy it.

Cons:

Honestly, I can't say anything bad about SqlBak.

simple backup

I was looking for tool to backup my databases. We are startup and the goal was to find simple tool to manage it. We've done it well with SqlBak

The best SQL backup I have used.

It's one of the best SQL backup products I've used for little money.

SqlBak is very easy to use and very easy to setup. I like to say, you set it and forget it. If there are any issues with the backup or connectivity, it will send you an email.

Cons:

If you setup the backup to be zipped, you get easily do a restore but it's been a very long time since I have tried, so they may have improved on this process.
