About Etleap

Etleap is a cloud-based AWS database management tool that allows users to analyze data from disparate sources.

Users can add or modify new data sources and apply custom transformations to their datasets. It works with analytical tools such as ChartIO, Looker, Metabase, Periscope Data, Tableau and Zoomdata. Etleap is HIPAA-compliant and EU-US privacy shield certified. It provides end-to-end encryption and single sign-on support. The dashboard shows the status of data pipelines and allows users to drill down into data processing activities and individual pipeline properties.

The software provides data access controls that allow users to decide which data to extract, how to analyze the data and how to load it into a data warehouse. Etleap integrates with data sources such as MySQL, Postgres, S3, Salesforce, Marketo, Google Analytics, Google AdWords and more.

Functionality

Pros:

This is the tool we used for our ETL and we were later going to move to something with less engineering resources involved. It does the job and it works well but if you do not have enough time / engineering resources to write the code to do the ETL, you’ll have a hard time. There’s a little bit of a learning curve but definitely less difficult than dell boomi.

Cons:

It’s a significant learning curve if you don’t have enough engineering resources to build out your pipelines.
