Innovative, Fast-Paced, and a Pleasure to Work with.

They are an absolute pleasure to work with. I've been in the technology business for twelve years and have worked with hundreds of 3rd parties. By far, Publitas is my favorite. The fact that they come to our quarterly meetings with not only free upgrades, but revenue-driving features is incredible. All partners should behave the same. In addition, when we also mention improvements we'd like to see in the future - it's as if by magic, the feature is ready for us within a week or two.

Pros:

Publitas is consistently innovating their e-catalog software to allow for embedded playable videos, slideshows, animated gifs for an incredible user experience. Every three months they come up with something that is astonishing. Now, they are working on personalized catalogs, automated builders, lead-forms to acquire new customers, and integrating into sales applications. Integration was easy. Publitas was up and going on our site within 3 days once contracts were signed. (It took us time to load in our 25 catalogs.)

Cons:

The google tag manager integration is cumbersome; though Publitas is entirely willing to assist in the setup process as well as help us debug issues that originated in the original EPIserver setup.

Reasons for switching to Publitas

Active merchandiser was unsecure (http instead of https which all of the modern browsers require now) as well as uses cookies, which required our retailers to disable their default cookie settings. Due to the fact that our retailers trend towards boomers and gen-x, it was a tough ask. We needed a new integration that took all of the modern browsers in account when upgrading. In addition, Publitas is fully-mobile friendly and allows for vertical scrolling on cell phones - which gives our catalogs a seamless scroll Pinterest like experience.

Great page turner for searchable brochures

Publitas is an excellent product that we are very happy with, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others. A great product and service that we aim to continue using.

Pros:

Publitas gives us a great platform to easily share our brochures, in a way that is accessible and searchable. Much better than the old PDFs we used to link to for people to download. I've also experienced excellent customer service, with members of the team going out of their way to accommodate us and keep our brochures live even when we were having issues paying due to a systems upgrade.

Cons:

There is nothing to dislike. Publitas is easy to use, the team offer great support, I can't complain about any aspect.

Reasons for switching to Publitas

Using PDFs to share brochures required the user to download the publication. Publitas hosts brochures online, making it easier for the end user. It is also much easier to include search features and links, making it an interactive document that can drive traffic to digital channels.

Cons:

the connexion between our product data base and the folder. Sometimes it takes a long time charging and then no product appear.

Interface was perfect, and the auto-section for links/emails is a time-saver. Also, having tested the platform with my client's busy network, it was incredibly stable compared to competitors.

Cons:

Not a con: There's plenty of other functions that are not suitable for my clients. (Things that are geared towards catalogues, for example).

Reasons for choosing Publitas

See earlier feedback. After trialling some of these platforms with my clients, Publics was the most streamlined and stable platform on a busy network.

Publitas is the best solution for our needs and we receive excellent customer service. Our publications are an important communication and conversion tool, and it is imperative to the business that we have the support provided by Publitas to bring those pubs to our customer.

Reporting. I am still struggling to track conversion from Publitas views. We are still working on this after a long effort.

Easy to upload pdf files, add links, image hotspot, connect with my google analytics, embed in my website. Good design overall to share with our readers.

Cons:

Would like to add search option, for our magazine is critical that our readers have this option to make their experience more rewarding.

Publitas is a good choice in use and support

Very easy to use and the support always helps you out with advice. Not many bugs and the interface is very clear.

Easy to set up and good customer support. They have several packages available according to your company's needs, so you get good value for money.

Cons:

Some of the features, such as popups when you hoovered over with the mouse, we used to have in the past weren't available in the new settings. We were provided with an alternative though.

Excellent. We’ve used Publitas for years and have no interest in using other pdf viewers. They are also very responsive.

Publitas’s format is extremely user friendly and the quality of the viewer is top-notch! Their format is very easy to navigate

Cons:

The only thing I wish could change is how the zoomfeature works. I wish the zoom view finder (square-within-asquare box) was off the paper so it does not sit in front of the page
