    Pros:
Ease of Use Kitchen.co is hands down one of the most user-friendly platforms I’ve ever used. Everything is clearly laid out, intuitive, and easy to navigate — both for me and my clients. Within five minutes of signing up, I was already up and running without needing any tutorials. Learning Curve Almost non-existent. It feels natural to use, even for clients who aren’t tech-savvy. Every person I’ve invited into the portal has found it simple and straightforward — not a single question or issue so far. Security Kitchen.co feels very secure and trustworthy. Permissions and document access are handled smoothly, which gives both me and my clients peace of mind when sharing sensitive materials and project files. Project Collaboration It’s a dream for collaboration. Clients can easily upload documents, view updates, and communicate directly within the portal. Everything stays organised and on-brand, which makes the whole experience feel clean and professional. Features The level of customisation is incredible — from icons and colours to folder images and banners. It genuinely looks like our own branded client portal, which adds a professional touch I haven’t seen anywhere else. Task Management & Project Tracking Kitchen.co makes it easy to stay on top of every task and milestone. It’s great being able to see conversations, files, and progress all in one place, without having to jump between tools. Pros – What I liked most: - Beautifully designed, super intuitive interface - Seamless client experience with zero confusion - Outstanding branding customisation - Reliable and responsive support (email replies usually within 24 hours) - Feels like a true all-in-one client hub ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – An Absolute Game-Changer for Agencies & Client Management
    Cons:
Honestly, there’s very little to fault. If I had to mention one thing, it would be that I genuinely wish I’d known about Kitchen.co sooner. It’s solved problems I didn’t even realise were slowing me down. Everything works so well that it actually makes me a bit frustrated I didn’t start using it earlier!

    Reasons for switching to kitchen.co

Google Drive was expensive and unprofessional. There was no custom branding possible, and left me feeling like I was presenting an unpolished product.

Life saving tool for service companies working with clients.

    5

As an agency, we struggled with juggling multiple tools to manage client projects for many years. We've tried Basecamp, Asana, Clickup, Monday, and many others, but they all had limitations and didn't work very well with clients resulting in various forms of chaos. This has added true day-to-day stress and even depression to our team. Do not underestimate how tooling can hurt your org's morale! Kitchen is changing all of this for us. It is truly very close to our dream tool, and with the frequent improvements they release it seems it could be perfected soon especially with task management improvements. It feels like we've found the light at the end of a many-year-long tunnel. If you work with clients and have struggled for years with important emails getting lost, file and doc sharing hell, and generally not having a clear "true north" place to look for project resources, I would strongly encourage you to try out Kitchen.

    Pros:
    - Fast and flexible folder/sidebar system to organize your workspace exactly how you want it. - Detailed permissions and sharing for each folder to control what various members of your team and client users can see. - Built in messaging tools that send to email and capture replies (occasionally with errors) to get client conversations out of messy email and into thoughtful and organized in app discussions grouped by title/subject. - The white labeling is complete and thorough! You can truly brand this platform to match your company without clients seeing mentions of Kitchen. - Ability to embed / iframe in other tools, dashboards, systems etc, and control who sees these embeds in the menu list even down to the specific client user. - The team behind Kitchen is super responsive to customer requests, frequently and quickly releasing features and improvements based on our feedback to make the platform better. It's so rare to find a SaaS company nowadays who actually addresses user feedback, WOW!
    Cons:
    - The task management tooling is advancing but still a ways to go. No timeline/gantt views, and the My Tasks view to see all of your work across projects is not robust enough to help you plan your week, it's kind of just a giant list of everything. If you are just using Kitchen for project task management, it feels hard to zoom out and see what's going on across your org. - Invoicing and quotes are quite limited right now. We use another system (accounting tool) for invoicing, but it would be neat if Kitchen had more flexible quotes and proposal tooling. However, this is solved by other tools on the market.

    Reasons for choosing kitchen.co

More competitive pricing, better white label features, better flexible structure and generally easier and faster to build client project portals that fit our needs.

    Reasons for switching to kitchen.co

More flexible organization of projects and folders, better branding controls and white label tools, and Kitchen is even easier to use which is a very high bar since basecamp already is a very low learning curve tool.

    Pros:
Kitchen is an extremely robust tool for my team. The team is responsive, and they consistently update the services and tools available in the platform. The lifetime plan is also one of the best perks I’ve come across in my search for a tool that will deliver on messaging, task management, granular access, invoicing and more. I look forward to receiving emails about new, unexpected, but extremely welcomed updates from Stefan. I’m so happy my search for the perfect project management, client dashboard, and team access platform ended when I found Kitchen.
    Cons:
I look forward to the billing/invoicing abilities expanding. I work with small/growing businesses, sololreneurs, And non-profit orgs; some of my clients have full project builds that come with a larger price tag. Having the ability to automate invoices with a 50/50, 30/30/40 or other payment plan would benefit my team and Our clients greatly.

    Reasons for choosing kitchen.co

Kitchen had a lot of the features I needed, and offered a lifetime plan. I got to use the trial version of white labeling, and in that time Kitchen released a few new features. The trial and new features allowed me to make an education choice in real time

    Cons:

A Seamless Client Experience Without the Bloat

    5

Working with Kitchen.co has been a game-changer for how we collaborate with clients. It feels tailor-made for service businesses like ours — no bloated features, no steep learning curve, just a thoughtfully crafted platform that “gets it.” The team behind the product is small but sharp. They’re not bots-on-standby 24/7, but when they respond, it’s clear they care: their replies are helpful, detailed, and often actionable. We even had a bug squashed within hours of reporting it. That’s rare and very appreciated! If you run a creative agency, freelance service, or offer remote services and are drowning in complex tools, Kitchen.co is the calm in the chaos.

    Pros:
Kitchen.co has completely streamlined our client communication, file sharing, and project tracking into one clean, well-designed experience. The simplicity of the platform is surprisingly powerful! Kitchen.co cuts through the noise that comes with overbuilt tools like Slack or ClickUp. Our onboarding process used to be a mess of links, emails, and hand-holding....but, now it’s short, sweet, and client-friendly. It’s made a noticeable impact on how fast we can kick off projects and how happy our clients are.
    Cons:
The only real pain point we’ve run into is around the API — it’s improving, but it’s not yet as robust as we’d like. We had to work around a few missing endpoints for our onboarding automation, which meant some extra manual effort. That said, the gains in clarity and efficiency still far outweigh the workaround.

    Reasons for choosing kitchen.co

Simplicity, flexibility, and cost. Many features are the same or very similar across these products - but the straightforward approach by Kitchen.co combined with the cost-effective pricing made the choice a no-brainer.

    Reasons for switching to kitchen.co

Customer experience was fragmented and the learning curve for a new user is too strong.

    Pros:
I love Kitchen because it is simple enough to understand it quickly and very versatile without clutter. I have bought many apps for managing projects/clients (Asana, Trello, Monday, Moxie, Plutio, etc) but clients (or me) just couldn't get a grip on it, in a few weeks clients stopped using it and so did I, for various reasons. But with Kitchen from the first client on they loved it, as did I, and now its been probably around two years using it and 95% percent of clients use it daily. My mailbox is free again and i can manage my work so much easier now, a real lifechanger. What i love is that there is a different approach to structure, it is totally up to you how you want to organize it, and on top of it it is so straightforward with setting up and checking what who can access (this was my issue with a lot of other apps, too hard to "see" what others have access to). And the support is awsome, really, one of the best I have ever dealt with. Kitchen is the app that i use the most, it is a cornerstone of my freelance business and probably my best investment, and I recommend you to try it, there is a good chance you will love it.
    Cons:
I tried to use it for invoicing too, but for now i could not customize the invoices for my needs, so for now i am keeping seperate solution for this, but when I have time to communicate properly with support my needs I will probably switch this part too.

    Reasons for choosing kitchen.co

They simply did not stick, clients did not like them enough to use them longterm.

    Reasons for switching to kitchen.co

I think that the help documentation could be built out a bit more ( at the time of this review anyway ) I struggled with a few set up and capability questions that were not answered in the documentation. It’s been solid. We’ve tried everything under the sun, Slack, ClickUp, Discord, even Airtable stitched together with duct tape. Kitchen is the first tool that actually feels like it was built for people running agencies. Not tech bros in San Fran. Big fan of how tidy everything stays, and how quick it is to onboard new people without needing a 2-hour walkthrough.

    Pros:
Everything just makes sense. No clutter. No bloat. It does what we need, it keeps client chats, tasks, files, internal convos all in one clean spot. We’ve run it across pods at The Cultivator, and honestly, it’s the first system that didn’t annoy me after two weeks. Clients get it. Team gets it. I don’t have to explain how to use it 40 times. Win. Also gotta say... support’s been on point. Every time we’ve had a weird question or needed help, they’ve actually responded with humans. Respect. Client side of things is super smooth too. You can loop clients into convos without giving them access to your whole universe, which is 🔑. They only see what they need to and they get email notifications when there’s updates, so they actually reply (for once). No more chasing people through seven platforms. It’s all in one place, and everyone’s on the same page.
    Cons:
The chat... eh. But they’ve said a Slack-style chat is dropping soon, might even be out by the time you’re reading this. I’m keen for that. If they nail it, it’ll be game over for everything else. Will make this system OP.

    Reasons for switching to kitchen.co

ClickUp was trying to be everything all at once and ended up being way too much. Every time we added a new client or pod, it felt like we needed a full-time admin just to keep it tidy. Notion was better for documenting stuff, but terrible for real-time ops. No proper client separation, no actual project flow. Kitchen just worked straight out the gate. It felt like to me it was made for agencies actually doing work and not trying to impress investors with dashboards we’ll never use.
