Lightspeed Retail vs Rain POS: Which is best for you?

What drew me to Lightspeed was that I was told by the sales representative that we did not have to use their credit card processing service and we could continue to process with our currents provider.

I want to share my experience with Lightspeed POS, which has been disappointing and frustrating from the start. When I first signed up, I was assured by our sales representative that we could use our own credit card processor and that Lightspeed would only charge a monthly subscription fee of $246.66.

They set up my website as close as they could match to my previous one from Wix and they did a pretty good job (although I discovered some mistakes that were pretty bad, such as the wrong phone number for my store, they were easily fixed by me) but I am frightened of doing anything to it beyond changing the text.

The Sales Tax report is the worst, it does not break out non taxable items you must report in Colorado.
