Valuable solution with a few growing pains

Our overall experience has been positive especially when we consider the high degree of customer service we have received. I'm looking forward to more development because this app could be a great long-term addition to our toolbox.

Pros:

This product made the certification process for our students and members a breeze compared to the way we used to have to do it. As an association, it is incredibly valuable to be able to provide members with an instant certification they can print and put up on their wall within moments of them joining our association. We were also able to integrate it into our CRM and provide certificates and credentials to the people that we have been qualifying through an examination process. The fact that people can share these certifications and credentials online widely is good for us from a marketing perspective. We also took advantage of the newly released Apple wallet and Android passbook feature that lets people carry around their credentials in their phone.

Cons:

While Accredible provided a lot of unique opportunities for us to stand apart from our competition and save administrative time on issuing credentials and certifications, Accredible does seem to be experiencing a few growing pains. Specifically, the engine they use to generate PDFs is unable to handle some basic requests and several of UX scenarios seem to be a little overly complicated - specifically, the "add to wallet" process is quite convoluted. We also have some challenges using browsers to select certain credentials for either printing or viewing, So again it looks like some of the code needs to be cleaned up streamlined or made lighter. Overall we appreciate that new companies coming up with technology like this do you have growing pains however you may want to examine the capacity of the system before you take the plunge.

Pros:

It integrates with multiple platforms such as Learn Worlds, LMS, TalentLMS, Zoom, WooCommerce, etc. It has great documentation and customer support. The certificates are easy to share on multiple platforms.

Cons:

It was a bit challenging setting up for the first time.

Reasons for switching to Accredible

The original certificates from TalentLMS did not meet our requirements and were hard to share.

Does the Job, But Features Are Lacking

Ultimately we did not continue to use Accredible despite having paid for a full year. We migrated our learners over to Badgr, and while no system is perfect, we feel that it is a better solution for our needs.

Pros:

Accredible is a respected and established brand in the digital credentials space which is what led us to select it initially. It integrated directly with our Thinkific platform, which made it a no-brained. We found that it was straightforward to set up and the online help documentation was adequate.

Cons:

Accredible has some limitations and quirks. It had some downtime, during which some of our users were not awarded badges. After that downtime it seemed to lose some functionality: it no longer integrated personalization features, and was only sporadically notifying admin of badges awarded. Also, despite our investment of just under $1000 for the year, we were dismayed that our users could not fully share their badges out to LinkedIn. We would have had to go up to the nondescript “enterprise” level.

Seamless single-sign-on from our product into Accredible. Great set of customizable features. Ease of implememtation via api. Good reporting and analytic features. Responsive team, willing to go the extra mile.

Cons:

Accredible listens to their customers and are constantly iterating on their offer. This is great, but does have side effects. For example, our sales and implementation teams are provided explicit details on how to best present our badging platform and that can cause confusion if a feature or layout has changed at Accredible.

It was a combination of their willingness to implement feedback and customization requests with a seamless experience for our users.

3 years of certificates management

We've looked a software for certificates management for our Academy, which should be easy to install, use and give us marketing opportunities to share certificates across social networks/ emails etc. And we found Accredible, which we connected to our LMS (Moodle) in few days using their plugin. Then after an year or so, we integrated Accredible deeper in LMS - everywhere where certificates show. We're using it for our online Academy (AutomationAcademy), for training-led courses, for internal compliance courses and even used it for webinars / online summit. Each day we see shared posts in LinkedIn with our certificates and looks like we have very good conversion to social networks due Accredible.

- Intuitive UI, fast learning - Exporting features (to Excel etc) - Certificates design - Quick stats / numbers in analytics - Marketing numbers - LI/Twitter shares - Groups - different access levels - open, hided

Cons:

- Emails - we'd prefer to connect it to our marketing software to send emails out. Accredible has own email designer, but I spent too much time to try to make anything there. - Recipient Directory - we dod not found value to us to use it.

Pros:

Accredible is indeed a great product that helps in digital accreditations. The ease of use and setup makes it best in class. It has less friction when integrated with complex systems and works as desired. It is easy to set up and needs no technical knowledge, the support is also good and ensures the queries are resolved quickly. We had zero downtime using Accredible since last 4 years.

Cons:

product can have better features like AI integrated, linking of badges, paths.

Pros:

The QR codes make verification of certificates very easy and the blockchain security is a great feature. Implementing digital certificates on the Accredible platform was a relatively easy process. Ongoing uploads of certificates through API calls is working well.

Cons:

I would like to have the ability to have multiple certificates & badges in a group instead of just one of each. I'd like to see more customisation for the design & layout of the Apple wallet feature before we would consider using it. Sales & implementation support has been good, but technical support for issues can sometimes be a tad slow.

It is straightforward, simple, and easy to use.

Digital credentialing platform Accredible enables users to issue, manage, track and verify credentials securely. In the past, we have used Accredible to certify the users of our MES product for apparel industry.

Pros:

1.) In a matter of minutes, you can have your digital certificates ready. 2.) Get rid of the expense of paper certificates. 3.) If your certification is only valid for a specified period of time, you must be able to revoke existing certificates or cause them to expire at a predetermined time. 4.) Time savings associated with the creation of a professional certificate template.

Cons:

1.) The pricing would be somewhat pricey. 2.) Not suitable for Non-Profit organizations.
