About PlanningPME

PlanningPME is a resource management solution that allows businesses to share scheduling information in real-time with teams. The solution allows managers to plan all types of projects, interventions, tasks, vacations, appointments, trainings and more. Teams can visualize the status of tasks to follow the progress of events and manage the status of the unavailability to approve or decline a leave. It lets users plan human and material resources, such as employees, rooms, customers, and vehicles on a unique schedule available all day.

Using the real-time reports and forecast functionality, administrators can monitor the level of activity of users on the schedule. The platform also allows stakeholders to personalize the access and rights of users, and operators can improve the daily management of the company's schedule. Via API, PlanningPME offers dedicated integrations with Google Calendar, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft PowerBi, Microsoft SQL Server, Sage, ARXivar, Microsoft Dynamic NAV.

Perfect daily planning

It is useful for this type of people who have many daily commitments and who often fail to fulfill them because they forget or do not organize the day well

Pros:

With your application I can have a daily plan without forgetting to keep appointments in my agenda, although its function is quite normal and everyday, I have been able to have a much more organized schedule of my daily duties to fulfill without forgetting something important and it keeps me sure of myself that I do everything right. A very active platform without passing reminder notifications

Cons:

It is simple and there is nothing that I dislike, it has the basics to have a good agenda planning

PPME Tames Training on the Wild Side.

Excellent. We started by reviewing about 6 other tools, narrowed it two 2, choose PME. Six weeks in and still learning all the powerful ways we can manage our trainings and slice & dice specific reports to optimize and track our training activity + easily generate KPI reports to leaders.

Visualization of our 100+ concurrent trainings with detailed data drill-downs to our heart's content. Allows us to proactively manage trainings, trainer and trainee conflicts, and all stakeholders who need various levels of awareness of our training activity: also love that we can manage user view-only levels in PPME.

Cons:

Configuring the tool to your specific needs takes a bit of time. No question PPME empowers you to do that and the up-front support from the PPME team was solid. I'd just suggest that slowing down to invest time to learn and leverage its logic and powerful database is definitely worth it!

Real-time visibility, customizability and ease of use and integration options to connect with other SWs including MS Excel, Power BI and etc.

Cons:

Performance slowdown with large files, initial complexity for new users and possibly extensive training, "Today" button is required to navigate back to the current date, rather than the first column always showing the current date

Pros:

I really like the quarterly view, which lets me look at 13 weeks of planning. I also like that we can scroll forward in time very easily. This is particularly helpful as a lot of our projects are planned well in advance. I also like that we can have colour codes for different resource groups and different tasks.

Cons:

There has been a recent change made which sees the quarterly view default to Monday (1st day of the week) instead of today. This has only changed recently and means I am forced to click on the "today" button every time. The 1st column should always be today. Would be good if this could be changed back. Would also be good if Microsoft outlook bookings could be integrated into PME schedule.

Planning PME has a better quarterly view, better use of colours.

It has been ideal for working in remote teams, enabling seamless collaboration with everyone in real time, helping each other improve each task or reduce the time allotted.

Pros:

It has been very useful for scheduling resources, absences, and tasks because it allows for easy integration of all this information into the system, allowing for better organization. Visualizations are the key to correctly verifying the order of tasks and enabling real-time collaboration that reflects the changes we make to validate what needs to be completed or improved for each project. Their customer service staff has always been very kind in answering each of my questions, rectifying any concerns I have that could delay my process.

Cons:

I don't entirely like the mobile app; not all the features are the same as the web version, and I find it a bit slow to load information. The web version is wonderful.

The system provided us with the flexibility that we needed. It is very user friendly. We can easily schedule, reschedule and plan for the future.

Cons:

Nothing, it met our needs. There would always be nice to haves, but again, it is a good system for our organization.

Just marvelous

I have used PlanningPME for many years, and everyone in the company swears by it. It’s the first thing we open in the morning and the last thing we close at the end of the day. An indispensable tool for planning and resource management.

We are satisfied with the functional and layout of the program it gives a good overview of the planed tasks per Service engineer and production worker.
