Identify and fix problems with your company with ease

Before Sitejabber our customers would leave their reviews and we wouldn't be able to really address or personally reply to them unless they came directly to us. Now that we have this wonderful software we have access to customer issues and complaints and are able to individually respond to them accordingly which results in overall happier customers and a better experience for them.

Sitejabber . More productive than not. Allows the people the opportunity to be heard.

There are more pros than cons to this software. I like that people can select certain companies to review and that companies are allowed to respond objectively.

The WORST tech company I have had the displeasure of dealing with.

Anyone that is considering paying for or using Sitejabber's services—I would heed caution and consider other review platforms. Be careful of unethical business practices, lock-in contracts and blackmail to continue using their services. Probably one of the worst experience I have ever had with a tech company as a small business owner. We spent thousands of dollars to use their services to collect reviews through their platform from mid 2021 to mid 2024. After deciding to discontinue using their services—almost 2-3k of our 5 star reviews were removed from our profile, and we were left with an extremely poor business rating due to their broken rating system. We requested Sitejabber to remove our listing from their site, fix our listing or refund us the money that we spent to use their services. They took no accountability, refused to remove our listing and then said the only solution to fix the issue is to continue paying full price for their services with a 1 year lock in contract? Now we are left with no other option, and unfortunately forced into continue paying for the services.

Not maintainable

I really appreciated the customer support, they were friendly and helpful. I think Sitejabber is a service a company should only pay for if they have no other choice and have a high-volume of new clients monthly that they can pull reviews from. Companies with few new clients every month will find themselves paying for a services without seeing a ROI.

Pros:

I like that Sitejabber allows you to bulk upload and send customized requests for reviews. I liked that you could moderate reviews and require that a reviewer provide proof that they've used your service.

Cons:

The biggest thing I did not like about Sitejabber is their rating model because your rating goes down not just for poor reviews, but also if you do not gain a review in the previous 30 day period. Also, once you've sent a request to one customer you cannot send them a request again in the future.

Easy to use interface and has good SEO for searches.

Cons:

They do not allow you to ask your customers to write reviews on Sitejabber. If they see that the reviewer came from you, they will block it. If you want to unblock positive reviews from your customers, you must pay them for their expensive plan...

Sitejabber deletes years of genuine reviews when you do not pay.

Sitejabber scam: I collected over 150 legitimate reviews for 12 years. Sitejabber notices your success & pressures you to subscribe to their (totally unnecessary) "review collection tools" costing $1000's.When you decline the subscription, the Sitejabber scam algo suddenly decides most of your reviews (which have been there for years) are not genuine and are deleted. They don't even notify or inform you.Proof with screenshots of communication with customers is rejected. However if you pay, you can create fake reviews, no problem.Don't waste your time.

Sitejabber deletes years of genuine reviews when you do not sign up to pay for their subscription services - they will favour companies in your category who are paying to ensure you fall down the list. Sitejabber will ignore the evidence you provide to prove your reviews are from genuine customers, if you do not pay their subscription

Easy to use and fairly easy to setup.

Cons:

It is extremely expensive to upgrade to the pro version - The exchange rate from the ZAR to the Dollar makes it unaffordable for a small business to upgrade. Maybe you can consider special pricing for countries with poor exchange rates.

I love that Sitejabber helps instill confidence in potential customers. I’ve also been able to link my rewards program so that current customers are rewarded for posting reviews. I’m also able to link reviews to social media with a paid subscription.

Pros:

Doesn't spam me or my customers asking for payments. Trustworthy. Easy to reply to reviews. Easy to integrate reviews into my website. Free version is fine for my needs. Reviews appear in Google searches.

Cons:

Last I checked, the reviews don't seem to appear in Google shopping or adwords although they do appear in Google search and Google My Business.
