About Cisco ACI

Cisco ACI is a software-defined networking (SDN) solution that facilitates data center automation and application agility. It is built on top of the Cisco Nexus 9000 platform and is designed to simplify the application development lifecycle. This solution is designed for IT professionals and supports workloads of any size, in any location, on-premise or remote, and in private or public cloud environments.

Cisco ACI consists of a main architectural component called the Cisco Application Policy Infrastructure Controller (APIC). The controller’s main features include application-centric network policies, topology monitoring, third-party integration, health scores for critical managed objects, and more.

Exellent software for Tech-Savvy

All in all, if you're looking for a solution to have your infrastructure as a code and be able to modify it easily this is for you and of course, it's one of the best in its class.

The best part is that by using this product you'll be able to create a software-defined data center easily which gives you Flexibility, Consistent Infrastructure, Automation and Orchestration.
Cons:
Implementing such an SDN network environment by using it, needs especially training which is a little complex for lots of network engineers.
