Using proprietary technologies running on secure Microsoft Azure, G.A. Suite combines data, configuration management, migration with the opportunity to backup and restore Project Online configuration, data, and SharePoint content.

The software features governance capabilities to archive data, document PWA configurations, copy PWA environment, configuration, project plans, and sites, and compare two PWA configurations. As well as data protection to schedule a backup for projects and SharePoint sites, perform and on-demand backup, and restore data from a backup copy.

Using this solution, organizations benefit significantly with enhanced project management processes and governance practices, time-saved on PWA administration, reduction of human errors & data loss, and automated backup and disaster recovery.

Backup & data maintenance made practical with FluenPro G.A. Suite

I like the FluentPro G.A. Suite, it helps us to do our daily work in the currently most efficient way. It enables us to do changes in project online in the background without bothering the users.

The automatic backup functionality and the possibility to change & adjust project online data in a mass processing

Cons:

In combination with our system landscape the performance is not very good. It takes some time to upload changed project data. We are still making our experiences and are trying to adjust our system. The function to change & edit project data lacks the possibility to make more sophisticated selections on the dataset before downloading data.

Reasons for choosing FluentPro G. A. Suite

FluentPro G.A. Suite is able to differentiate between the different objects to be backup-ed (e.g. Project data, Sharepoint etc.). Other products are just taking Project data, but not the objects attached to the projects (which does not fit to our requirements as we need ALL data refering to the project).

The features and functions are great, and the interface is relatively easy to use. The customer support provided is great.

Cons:

We continue to view this solution as too expensive. The way the project quota is calculated, and the license tiers make it quite prohibitive cost-wise.

Pros:

Our company has been using Microsoft Project/Online for more than a decade now and FluentPro has been a great third-party tool enabling us to automate tasks like bulk updates. It also a great tool to use in migrating projects and project sites from one tenant to another. We also use this tool when we deploy workflows. And another feature that I am grateful for is the one that provides you configuration summary, comparison of configuration between tenants as well.

Cons:

There is really nothing to like except that there could be more improvement on ease of use. Functionality wise it is working but I believe there are areas that can be improved.

With FluentPro we set the backup of our PowerBI environment very quickly and effectively.We had a quick and effective traning, then we configure the service and schedule the backup.We did all of this in few hours without any glitches or issues. The implementation was very smooth and straightforward.

Great customer support & refresher training are really helpful

Cons:

Trying to backup for the projects that are changed since last backup. But it doesn't work... Maybe due to how MSP capture dates. Total lead time for daily backup takes longer than general file backups.
