About EventMobi

EventMobi is a cloud-based event management solution for businesses of any size across a variety of industries. Primary features include event apps, multiple event management, registration, check-in, live polls, surveys, gamification and reporting.

The event apps allow users to provide event information, activities and entertainment to event attendees. Users can access the entire event portfolio containing past, current and future events, manage multiple registrations and manage event planning. Users can create customized websites, manage guest check-ins and offer discounted rates.

The polls and surveys module allows users to gather real-time feedback. The live display feature generates revenue from sponsorships and brand placements. It broadcasts real-time updates, alerts and event information to attendees instantly.

Support is offered via email and over the phone. Other help options include blogs and webinars.

The show itself has utilized EventMobi for over a decade. The EventMobi team is knowledgeable and always ensures that our projects are completed ahead of time and above expectations. EventMobi is easy to use and always updates with new features.

EventMobi hits the mark

Overall very good. We have decided to go with EventMobi time and again because they are moderately priced and work for our event needs, including badge creation and lead scanning.

Pros:

The customer service is the best in the business. Any questions you have, big or small, they will answer in a very timely manner.

Cons:

Some aspects, such as editing people, company details, locations, agenda details, etc. can be quite manual and tedious.

Reasons for choosing EventMobi

Eventmobi allowed us to use external registration, had lead retrieval and a badge designer plus all other features we were looking for.

Good app, not the best customer service

Used for conventions to connect attendees, communicate with them, and create document repositories. Overall my experience with the app and the website was great. There was definitely a lack of support from our rep.

The app itself is easy to build. I had a team of designers and their specifications make sense. Notifications are easy to send, which is the feature we used the most.

Cons:

There isn't really anything to allow to create a bilingual app. No way to toggle from EN to FR and that is a serious issue.

EventMobi platform and service made for a postively memorable first virtual conference!

Considering this was the first time we had ever organized and hosted this kind of virtual event, the staff organizing and members attending were extremely pleased with the platform and outcome of the service! All the staff at EventMobi were extremely supportive and helpful, which was very much appreciated. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] kept us on track at all our weekly meetings! Thank you to the post-event team for working with us and being flexible on creating options for having the recorded on-demand sessions available for longer after the event. All in all a fairly slick process and experience!

EventMobi design team were able to design a platform that matched our brand and style. The conference platform was easy to navigate as a registrant/event user, and the SUPPORT TEAM hand holding us every step of the way was FANTASTIC!

Cons:

The back end was a little overwhelming at the beginning, but overall became manageable once we overcame the learning curve. There were some bugs to work out with the integration with our Swoogo registration list. In the future see if you could embed REMO into the main stage. We also got into a crunch at the end of the prep-phase, because it was not mad aware to us how much work would still need to be done by the EM team to prepare the transition slides. But it all worked out in the end!

Reasons for choosing EventMobi

We already had an existing contract with EventMobi for other products, so it was easy to combien and migrate. We also felt that our membership had some familiarity with EventMobi. EventMobi was also the right price and had all the services and support we were looking for.

EventMobi is a partner in Event Sucess

I will continue to try and work with EventMobi in future. As I named this review, they truly are a partner not just a vendor. I appreciate the entire team from the developers getting the app onto the stores to the team checking in along the way before and even during the event.

I felt supported along the entire way. I have used other competitive tools on the market and I felt like I was drowning in FAQ's. Even with a semi-technical background when I needed help I could hop on a chat or give someone a call and get a real response and guidance. They are the best team, you never feel like you will just be given a link to figure it out yourself. EventMobi makes sure you have the support you need.

Cons:

Nothing really. You can get a little overwhelmed about how to set up your widgets and links but if you are worried you can ask them to look at it and give you their advice.

Reasons for switching to EventMobi

It was expensive and their support and service was a struggle. The app itself worked great but all you get is links to videos or articles if you have questions.

Loved EventMobi

I felt that the software was user friendly- while we did opt in to have the support team set-up the product, I was still able to go in and understand how to do it if I needed to. I also liked that I could have my virtual team in a green room, and I could be with them, but not impact the front end.

Cons:

I would love if it could integrate with our registration software. While there is a lot of customization and options to use the EventMobi registration page and integrate with the platform, I loose the ability to seamlessly track our participants.

Low Friction and Great Product

The ease of building the application and also how simple and fast it was to get up and running. Very intuitive UI.

Cons:

It would have been nice to have the ability to incorporate the live polling into PPT slides or existing presentation tools. Instead we had to flip back and forth between the slides and polling/Q&A.

An outstanding app backed by an exceptional team

The app is fantastic — incredibly intuitive and user-friendly! Even though we only had about three weeks to work on it (and not even full-time), it was surprisingly easy to get the hang of. It offers so many smart and flexible features that can truly elevate the experience for event participants. And what really makes the difference is the amazing team behind it. From day one, they’ve been extraordinary — always available, responsive, and supportive, with a lot of tools for us to understand how does it work and to help the communication with our event's attendees. Before we even signed the contract, they took the time to explain everything clearly and answer all our questions in detail. And after the signature, they continued to guide us step by step to make sure we fully understood how everything worked. Their responses were almost instant, always delivered with professionalism, and kindness. It’s rare to feel so well accompanied — this team truly goes above and beyond!

Good platform

Only part that stuck out to me was that we had issues with attendees trying to log in to the app even though they were registered attendees. Good that the team was able to resolve it rather quickly.

Great way to manage our event all in one app. We like the ease of the back-end, and how easy it is to use.

Cons:

Would be nice if we can add sponsor logos to sessions or speakers. Also attendees had issues logging in.

Thanks so much for sharing this feedback, Valerie. I’m really glad to hear your overall experience was positive and that the team was able to jump in quickly to help. I can see how this login issue might have been frustrating for attendees. What likely happened is that login details carry over across all EventMobi apps. So if someone had used an EventMobi app before, they’d need to log in with the same password they originally set. If they don’t remember it, using the password reset or one-time code should do the trick, as long as they’re logging in with the same email they used to register for the event.
