About vFairs

vFairs is a virtual events platform that is suitable for businesses of all sizes wanting to host online job fairs, trade shows, conferences, and other events. The key features of the solution include live webinars, digital content management, networking tools, chat and virtual job boards.

Additionally, vFairs offers custom event landing pages, registration forms, virtual booth templates, webinars, Q&As and polls to engage audiences and provide a fully branded experience. It provides reporting of event data including registrations, turnout and booth-level metrics for audience engagement. Interactivity tools allow booth representatives to engage with attendees in real time through text, audio and video chat, with 1:1 options available if privacy is required.

vFairs can also be used by universities to host virtual open days for prospective students, and virtual job fairs and networking events for current students and alumni. The solution is also fully mobile-responsive, allowing audiences to access all event content through their smartphone or tablet.

From start to finish, the technology available met all our needs seamlessly, ensuring our event ran smoothly. What truly stood out, however, was the outstanding customer service provided by [sensitive content hidden]. She was consistently available, incredibly responsive, and went above and beyond to address all our needs. Her dedication and professionalism were evident in every interaction, and her support was invaluable to the success of our convention. -The interface was easy to use. -The registration page was aesthetically pleasing. -Email templates were great and customizable. -Notifications were also easy to use. The updates were simple. -Overall registration setup was easy and customized to our needs. -Having Matti Holdridge on site. She was with us from start to finish for the entire project, including setup, cleanup, and troubleshooting. -The badges and lanyards that we designed were of supreme quality. -The registration process for our attendees on site was so easy and seamless.

Cons:

Although we had a fabulous project manager who did everything, we did need to reach out to her every time, as the backend was not easy to navigate without detailed instructions. While we appreciate having a project manager, having an overview training session on each feature would have been nice. This way, the project manager wouldn't always depend on our timeline. As a small staff, it's sometimes easier to do a few things independently and then have the team edit. Additionally, our daily schedule was put in as sessions instead of an agenda. We needed to be able to scan our attendees in only once per day, and it was hard at the event to find the correct session daily. Each aspect of vFairs was customizable, which is great; as I said, we have a small office, so for certain features, it would have been nice to have templates to choose from or be advised ahead of time that because each aspect is customizable and needs to be built out, requires specific attention and a certain amount of time. Hence, a needs list for all features with a timeline for implementation. I would have planned better if I understood it better.

Reasons for choosing vFairs

The interface and what we needed seemed to better fit for Philoptochos. We also liked the virtual interface better than EventsAir.

[sensitive content hidden] a were absolutely fantastic! From the start, they made me feel welcomed and understood. This was our first time using vFairs, and they guided me through every step of the process, providing ample training for our staff and vendors. They were genuinely invested in making the experience the best it could be for us—whether it was implementing new programs, offering additional reporting, additional one-on-ones and more! I couldn’t have navigated this transition without [sensitive content hidden]'s knowledge, patience, and support. She was a true shining star, and I couldn’t have asked for a better Project Manager.

vFairs is a user-friendly event platform that uses fresh and relevant technology, which made our event a huge success! The team we worked with was exceptionally engaged, highly knowledgeable, and incredibly efficient. The reporting provided afterwards was in-depth and priceless. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Cons:

We encountered a few hiccups with logins, entering allowances, and tracking points in our QR Code Scavenger Hunt. However, each issue was promptly addressed, and I don’t anticipate them being problems in the future.

vFairs have been great to work with, and the support team is extremely helpful and timely with all requests.

We have been using vFairs for the past 6 months, and have run multiple events either using the full platform, or specific features, such as badge printing. Every experience has been fantastic, especially with the help of our Project Manager, [sensitive content hidden]. Every request that we have made has been completed in a timely manner, even when they are last minute. The lead scanning feature worked seamlessly for a large scale event, and the badge printing is relatively simple once you are trained on how to troubleshoot any issues that may arise.

Cons:

Nothing to note. Depending on how much control you want over the platform, it is helpful to know HTML and CSS, which may not be something that all organisations have in-house, but even if so, the vFairs team are on hand to complete any requests.

FCEDA Platform Experience Review

It was a great learning experience, and has cool features that elevated our events. However, we had a few issues with communications with our Project Manager. There were also a few glitches that really dissapointed us during the designing of the websites phase. It would be great to see vFairs expand the graphic designs, and templates implemented on the event websites for event administrators.

The customization capabilities, and control for email communication customizations pre, during, and post event. It's a nice elevated event experience for attendees.

Cons:

The production turnaround time for certain features and graphic modifications. We were dissapointed to find out that a vFairs developer had to do the graphic updates/changes. We had to wait 1-2 days for that to get done. We were hoping to be able to control that, so it's a quicker turnaround update for our attendees, which really impacts the event outcome.

V-Fairs is GREAT!

My overall experience has been very easy and transformative for our food shows! They are accommodating to all of your ideas and flexible when needed. We have weekly meetings to help keep us all on our timeline. The team is very responsive as well.

V-Fairs is very accommodating and flexible! If you have a unique idea, they will make sure it happens! I also love how all of your previous events are saved. It makes the next event that much easier.

Cons:

Still working on the negotiation/allowance side of our event. I would love for the vendors to have the ability to talk just to V-Fairs on questions instead of going through me as a middleman.

The team! [sensitive content hidden] is our stellar project manager. She is easy to work with, highly responsive, willing to answer all our minutia questions, record video instructions, and make things very simple for us as administrators. We had an extremely fast turnaround for our first event, which was also our first event with vFairs, and she & her team could not have been more accommodating and helpful, especially given our timeline.

Cons:

The back end is quite complicated, so we relied fully on the project team to get things done - which was not an issue because of how helpful they were - but would like to be able to do more on my own in an intuitive way without spending a ton of time learning how.
