Pros:

I tried multiple other platforms for months at a time only to be frustrated with the time it took to get set up and running. With Coach Catalyst, my clients were using the app in only 3 days!

Cons:

Honestly, I’m only sad it took me so long to find it. I honestly don’t have anything to report that I dislike. It may not be as robust as other platforms but they continue to add functionality regularly.

Keeps getting better

This software has allowed me to stop using google sheets to track client progress and share workouts. My clients have 1 app that they use to get workouts, daily accountability, store their personal data, and so much more. Before I was using multiple apps and/or google sheets to hold all this information.

Pros:

I love how easy to use as a coach and for clients. I have a few clients that are 70+ and are able to use the app with ease. I use all of the features offered and it doesn't feel overwhelming or too complicated. It is clear to use and works perfectly for my business structure.

Cons:

I'm looking forward to communities being added. I have run Facebook groups in the past, but so many clients don't use Facebook I don't feel like the group is much of an added benefit. The communities feature will hopefully fill that gap in my offer.

I was using a lot of different apps but none of them did everything that I wanted them to do. When I made the switch to Coach Catalyst I was able to cancel all my other services and stop using google sheets to track any missing information.

Easy to use for admins and clients. New workout/program builder is excellent. Very easy to use and makes the process of writing training programs much faster

Cons:

Some features aren't available in mobile vs desktop. Navigation in mobile is not as obvious vs desktop

Clients love the challenges and the workouts that we can deliver, along with any homework, on their calendar.

The customer service has been second to none--and most of the issues have been on my end, not theirs. The workout builder is super quick and easy to use and the preloaded challenges are very good and easily modified.

Cons:

I think the biggest weakness is the messaging system. Coaches don't like using a separate app for communication and clients prefer using texts. It's been a hard sell to get everyone to change.

The behavior change programs are outstanding. Even better is the fact that you can create your own or modify existing programs that sound like you and your brand, not someone else. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] and their team do a phenomenal job of updating the software, the app, and continually pursuing "better" with the product.

Cons:

I'm old school when it comes to writing programs. Although CC's program builder is much better than anybody else that I've used, I still prefer writing my programs on Microsoft Word.

Much more robust (yet simple) and holistic. Again, you can tell this was built by coaches who truly get that this isn't just about working out and building training programs.

Technically, I didn't switch. I was already using Coach Catalyst and at the time we didn't have the ability to build out programs so I gave exercise.com a shot. Exercise.com was a bit too robust, complicated, and didn't have what I call "coaching features" built into their program. What I mean by this is that Coach Catalyst is built by actual coaches (personal trainers, strength and conditioning coaches, whatever title you prefer to call yourself) and it's obvious.

Best all in one coaching app out there

I'm able to fully coach all of my clients on one space. The owners of Coach Catalyst are responsive and extremely helpful with any issue you might have learning or using the software. They deeply care about their users and the overall experience. The app itself allows one to coach in any capacity at a high level in a very professional format and setting. I love working with this company and using their amazing software!

It's made by real people who are gym owners! They understand what health and fitness coaches need because they made everything from what they would want in an app! It's adaptable and constantly evolving to be better! Love that it is lesson and action based since health and wellness revolves around learning and taking action!

Sometimes the messaging feature is glitchy, but they are constantly working on it to make everything work well!

The ease of use for both the creator (coach) AND the end user (client). Most nutrition software is overly complicated on both ends creating more work for the coach, and less buy in from the client. I have higher client success rates due to the compliance I see from my clients using CC.

Cons:

Nothing at all. Any tiny details that need improvement are continually being improved upon.

Highly Recommend for Nutrition coaches!

Super easy to use and get started with even if you are just beginning and only have a few clients. The support Coach Catalyst offers is outstanding anytime I needed help or had a question they responded quickly and was able to help me.

Cons:

In the beginning they didn't have forms or payment methods, but they keep getting better and better and have both of these options in the app now.

Their customer support is fantastic which is extremely helpful. I also love the ability to start a program and change it or update it even while clients are in the program. I can take my client's feedback and make necessary adjustments based on what they need without them noticing anything has changed at all - this was a huge aspect for me to continue using the software.

Cons:

Would still love the ability to have a library of workouts clients can reference on their own without having to leave the software. I'm confident the team at Coach Catalyst will find a solution for this.

Would Know What To So Without It

Coach Catalyst is the MAIN communication for our clients so it plays a HUGE roll in our business. I love the fact that support is always there to help when I have issues or need help.

Pros:

I've been using Coach Catalyst for about 5 years now. It helps me be able to coach all 150 clients easier. It allows me to still be a customized program BUT also scale it. I love how they have constantly made improvements and it much like having another employee doing all the work for me except for much less money.

Cons:

I actually can't think of too many cons. With any apps, there are going to be some glitzes but those tend to go away with updating the app or deleting it and adding it back.
