About SafeBus

SafeBus is a school bus routing solution that helps educational institutions create routes, track vehicle locations, monitor driver violations and more on a centralized platform. Administrators can use GPS tracking tools to monitor school bus location based on color-coded categories, such as moving, stationary, over-speeding or unreachable.

SafeBus lets employees use a drag-and-drop interface to create trips with details, such as trip ID, route names, student lists, vehicle type and driver details. Parents can track the bus routes and automatically receive an ETA and student boarding or de-boarding alerts. Additionally, bus attendants can generate student lists, contact parents, and raise SOS alarms based on custom categories, such as vehicle breakdown, the vehicle stopped by police and student non-cooperation.

SafeBus facilitates integration with several third-party ERP solutions. The iOS and Android mobile applications allow users to oversee operations remotely. It is available on quarterly and annual subscriptions and support is extended via FAQ, video tutorials, live chat and email.

Pros:

Safebus has helped our school manage all the school buses, it keeps us updated about each and every bus throughout the journey & focuses the most on student safety which is of the utmost importance.

Cons:

As of now we don't think there are any cons.

Safetrax Tracking App - My Personal Opinion based on the usage of the app

Pros:

The Live map is something which i like in this app. As we are from Education Industry we generally monitor the app during Login and Log out time. This helps us understand where the bus is delayed and which route is delayed. Even when parents contact us asking for an update we can check and inform the parent by what time the bus will reach the stop if delayed. Secondly what i like is the change of vehicle from one route to another one. This feature is simple and easy to switch from one bus to another bus. Eg: Bus 1 has been changed from the regular route of GCP01 to GCP03. We can interchange the bus with 3 to 4 clicks.

Cons:

1] Reports has be simple. While extracting the report it asks for Bus registration number and this will not be handy and hence this has to be simplified. 2] Uploading routes in the app has to be simplified. currently we are depending on the safetrax team to do it as it is more complicated from our end.
