ClayHR is a comprehensive cloud-based human resource management solution that helps mid to large enterprises manage the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to comprehensive employee records to performance management to team retention, in one integrated application.
ClayHR’s advanced features include configurable workflows with a wide range of step types (esignatures, training, document uploads, forms, emails, etc.) and automatic operations. You can design a comprehensive employee record with your own custom sections and filters with sophisticated visibility options. Conduct performance reviews individually or in bulk based on your own metrics, templates and processes. Track your skill matrix and manage and conduct training for compliance and career development purposes. Native iOS and Android mobile apps enable your workforce to work on the go, from anywhere.
ClayHR offers an open API platform and robust data integrations with GSuite, Microsoft 365, Azure, Indeed, Jira, Quickbooks, Checkr, and more. Support is extended via 24 x 7 live chat, phone, and email.

I work as the Human Resource and Administrative Manager for an Operating and Maintenance Company in the Power Generation (Energy) sector in Ghana and the ClayHR platform makes it easy to track significant milestones of employees including birthdays, work anniversaries among others. this is even aside the core reason why we procured the software, which is to enhance our performance management. Their support team is highly reliable, and we are considering procuring other features to improve the HR and Administration experience in the company.

ClayHR - gradual implementation in a global team.

We have been using ClayHR since 2023 and have implemented several key modules, including Core HR, Applicant Tracking System (ATS), PTO & Expense Management, Performance Management, as well as Learnings and Tests. ClayHR has proven to be a flexible and robust solution for our globally distributed teams. A benefit was how the team accommodated our gradual uptake of each module, as we mastered each module, we then implemented the next ones. The ability to configure workflows, such as region-specific expense approval flows and role-based access, has been crucial in maintaining our operational efficiency, privacy, and compliance across different regions and employee levels. Performance templates have enabled us to standardize yet customize performance reviews and goal setting. Additionally, the learning and test features have helped us assess employee knowledge and provide certificates. The technical team and account managers are easy to work with and actively look for ways to work with you to meet your business needs. Clay HR continues to evolve to meet growing organizational needs. I look forward to leveraging more of its vast features.

There is more functionality in the variety of modules. A lot of the HR software focus specifically on ie. recruitment or payroll - not a combination of them all.

Our overall experience with the HR software has been very positive. The system has streamlined employee data management, performance reviews, and payroll integration, reducing manual work and errors. While there was a slight learning curve in the beginning—especially with setting up custom reports and forms—the support team was responsive, and once processes were in place, everything ran smoothly.
