ClayHR’s advanced features include configurable workflows with a wide range of step types (esignatures, training, document uploads, forms, emails, etc.) and automatic operations. You can design a comprehensive employee record with your own custom sections and filters with sophisticated visibility options. Conduct performance reviews individually or in bulk based on your own metrics, templates and processes. Track your skill matrix and manage and conduct training for compliance and career development purposes. Native iOS and Android mobile apps enable your workforce to work on the go, from anywhere.

      The system is intuitive The setup can be done without technical expertise The adjustments to the infrastructure are as easy as playing Lego, except, it's a digital platform The team is responsive, responsible and respectful

      Nothing yet, and I am condifent that even if I did find something that needed some enhancements, the ClayHR team will definitely appreciate the feedback. 1% incremental improvement exceeds perfection.

      ClayHR is a comprehensive HR tool. It is easily customisable and the best feature about it is that it is user-friendly. No glimicks, clean and functional menus and ribbons.

      It is an all-in-one HR platform- it covers recruitment, onboarding, performance management, time tracking, leave management and more all in one place.
      Cons:
      Because it has so many modules (performance, leave, recruitment etc.), it can feel overwhelming at first to configure everything.

      I work as the Human Resource and Administrative Manager for an Operating and Maintenance Company in the Power Generation (Energy) sector in Ghana and the ClayHR platform makes it easy to track significant milestones of employees including birthdays, work anniversaries among others. this is even aside the core reason why we procured the software, which is to enhance our performance management. Their support team is highly reliable, and we are considering procuring other features to improve the HR and Administration experience in the company.

      We’ve been using ClayHR for our performance management processes since January 2024, and it has significantly simplified how we conduct performance reviews and end of year performance evaluations. The platform is user-friendly, customizable, and supports seamless goal tracking, real-time feedback, and appraisal workflows. It has helped us improve transparency, align employee goals with company objectives, and save time on administrative tasks. Overall, ClayHR has enhanced both the efficiency and effectiveness of our performance management system.
      Cons:
      None at the moment, but as and when it comes up, I will update the platform to enable users see what could be improved.

      ClayHR - gradual implementation in a global team.

      We have been using ClayHR since 2023 and have implemented several key modules, including Core HR, Applicant Tracking System (ATS), PTO & Expense Management, Performance Management, as well as Learnings and Tests. ClayHR has proven to be a flexible and robust solution for our globally distributed teams. A benefit was how the team accommodated our gradual uptake of each module, as we mastered each module, we then implemented the next ones. The ability to configure workflows, such as region-specific expense approval flows and role-based access, has been crucial in maintaining our operational efficiency, privacy, and compliance across different regions and employee levels. Performance templates have enabled us to standardize yet customize performance reviews and goal setting. Additionally, the learning and test features have helped us assess employee knowledge and provide certificates. The technical team and account managers are easy to work with and actively look for ways to work with you to meet your business needs. Clay HR continues to evolve to meet growing organizational needs. I look forward to leveraging more of its vast features.

      The ability to tailor-make most of the functionality to suit our business needs. Also, how BROAD the options are to accommodate the span of HR.
      Cons:
      The leave accrual system is a bit limited in that the system doesn't round off to whole or half numbers... However, the leave upfront system works well.

      There is more functionality in the variety of modules. A lot of the HR software focus specifically on ie. recruitment or payroll - not a combination of them all.

Performance Review Management The performance review cycle used to take weeks with manual forms and Excel tracking. With the software, managers and employees complete reviews online, with automated reminders. During the last review cycle, completion rates improved by 40% because no one missed deadlines. Custom Reports We frequently need reports for management — like headcount by department, attrition trends, or training hours. Earlier, these took hours to compile. Now, HR can generate customized reports in minutes, saving both time and effort while making data-driven decisions easier.
      Cons:
      Designing dynamic forms like onboarding checklists or exit surveys took a bit of effort in the beginning. For example, HR spent extra hours configuring conditional fields. The upside is that these forms are reusable and scalable — so the effort pays off long term.
