Cons:

The inability to change Pik List options after data was migrated. It would be a helpful tool to be able to update.

Crelate is Great

Overall, our experience with Crelate has been extremely positive. The system is user-friendly, offers a wide range of features and integration options, is competitively priced, and backed by a responsive support team. I would confidently recommend Crelate to any organization seeking an efficient recruiting solution.

Pros:

Crelate has been an outstanding partner for our organization. From implementation through ongoing support, their team consistently responds to our needs quickly and efficiently. The software is intuitive and easy to use, enabling our team to double our recruiting and onboarding volume without adding additional staff. This level of growth simply wouldn’t have been possible without Crelate.

Cons:

The only drawback we’ve encountered with Crelate is that its databases are segmented, meaning you can only generate reports from one table at a time (Contacts, Placements, Opportunities). However, our organization was able to overcome this limitation by integrating Power BI, making it a non-issue for us.

CATS was sunsetting their product and we needed to switch to a new ATS. We also hosted information in excel spreadsheets and Sharepoints which was not a sustainable option for our team. We needed a software to recruit, onboard, and hold all of the necessary information.

Crelate is the third ATS we have used and it is by far the most organized and beneficial to our company. It allows very easy and open communication as well as quick access with the app they offer.

Pros:

I like how easy it is to track applicants in the system by changing their status in the hiring process. You can also link your email and online calendar to Crelate so you get email and calendar updates regarding interviews, etc.

Cons:

Overall I like everything about Crelate software, the only thing that is a con is how the system doesn’t always catch duplicate entries of candidates and having to manually merge records.

Tried a ton and Crelate is still our fav

Overall experience is just like I have said in the Pros section. It has been great. We trialed dozens of other ATS systems and after that came back to just loving Crelate.

Customer Support. Customization. And the general ease of use of Crelate. At the very least I know if I face an issue, [sensitive content hidden] is a simple call away. She will always step in and help.

Cons:

There are a few features in terms of automation that could be improved. I say that, but every time I have used an automation tool it does as much damage as it saves time really.

We have not fully moved over to Crelate yet, but so far the implementation has gone well and we are looking forward to a long term relationship with Crelate. They were great at customization to make things work for us.

the customer service and the implementation went better than expected. They did a lot of customization to make it right for us.

Cons:

Its too early to say as we are not fully on Crelate but so far we like the product and am looking forward to diving into the new system.

we wanted a system that could not just find candidates, but work with the sales and then end to end where we could pay our employees and then bill our clients.

the searching is not the greatest. We would find candidates in other tools and later find that they were already in our system

Best in Class ATS

I run a small full cycle technical recruiting agency and have used Crelate for years, which has been exceedingly more powerful than other ATS software I have used in the past. Their mass data imports and 3rd party software integrations from job boards to email/phone/text automation is best in class. Crelate support is also the fastest and most helpful I have experienced as well, which helps eliminate any downtime.

Pros:

Crelate has a great high volume data import ability and runs seamlessly with most 3rd party applications which eliminates repetitive administrative tasks. Most importantly, their powerful search functions when combined with email/text/phone call automation tools is the key to run a full desk twice as fast.

Cons:

Data exports are raw zip files and need to be combined after download.

Crelate UI showed more data and integrated with other apps more easily.

Reasons for switching to Crelate

Needed more data preview and the ability to cross reference multiple sides of the business from clients and job descriptions to contact profiles and resumes.

Excellent support and migration process

Excellent service and migration process and the project folks ensuring that all tasks were done (by us and them) on time. Our consultant, [sensitive content hidden], was simply amazing!

The customer service and assistance from the Product Consultant, [sensitive content hidden] throughout the process. She saved us hours of headache with her expertise and excellent training.

Cons:

The inability to convert a type of job to another type of job (like non timekeeping to timekeeping) without starting over.

Best Recruiting Software Available

It's the best sales tool I've used in my recruiting career. There are some improvements that can be made to document upload and texting, but overall, it's far and away the best one I've used.

Pros:

The layout of jobs and ease of transition between records. The sales funnel component is very helpful when calling and tracking where candidates are in the process all in one place.

Cons:

The texting function recently added a hover preview that is not good. I would love to see that go away, and have reached out about this already.

I tried another ATS first and I wish I would have just gone with Crelate from the beginning...

Pros:

I was torn between Crelate and another ATS and I wish I would have gone with Create from the beginning. Unfortunately I went with the other ATS that had so many features and not a streamline way of usage that it was hard to use all of the features available. Crelate offers many great features AND they are user friendly. Starting with Crelate would have been a game changer.

Cons:

It would be great if there was an extra check in call after a month or so (even if it needs to be paid for) just to make sure everything is flowing correctly. It's nice that there is one after you switch over but sometimes questions come up after you have been in the flow of using the system more. My main reason for going with the other ATS at first was because they had similar prices but offered more users. Having a feature where I could have had a part time or admin access for a smaller cost would have probably stopped me from going to the other ATS in the beginning.

The prices were similar but ATS allowed more users and we were not sure how our team would be growing so we went with them first. Their features were great but it was not user friendly so since Crelate stood our in ease of use I made the switch.

Very good. Perhaps Crelate can update its platform for the interview process, notes and stage of process with a spreadsheet using drop downs in the cells. This would make things simplified, and everything is in front of the user.

Cons:

It's easier for me to use and excel spreadsheet to name candidates, job orders, stage in the interview process and notes. It's easier and the spreadsheet with all information is in front of me.
