About Netchex

Netchex is a cloud-based human resource (HR) and payroll management solution designed for businesses of all sizes. Key features include recruiting and onboarding management, performance management, payroll management, tax compliance, time and attendance management, benefits administration and reporting and analytics.

With the dedicated self-service portal, Netchex helps employees to view and access information such as PTO requests, leave balance, benefits and tax withholdings in real-time. The customer support model gives clients access to a dedicated advocate and service team who learns the business specifically, giving personalized experience on every call. Netchex is available on a pay-as-you-go model, wherein businesses pay a monthly subscription for the number of modules subscribed.

Product is very easy to use and makes the administrative tasks of my job simpler! I also like that employees are able to take more ownership of their information and access it for themselves.

Cons:

Sometimes employees are left off of reports (like the time and attendance detail report) which necessitates checking their account to make ensure whether they clocked in or not.

Netchex is an "all-in-one" solutions for HR

Payroll process are streamlined, editing of time, time approval, are easy. The mobile app is awesome. Employees have a self-service type interface that allows for time-off requests, tax documents, etc.

Pros:

Netchex can do pretty much all things HR: from payroll to annual evaluations and tracking of training and education. It's an excellent solution that doesn't require you to move from one product to another to accomplish your employee management tasks.

Cons:

I don't have any issues/cons with Netchex. The interface is user-friendly, and I really like the mobile app.

Pros:

I love the integrated platform. With our old payroll company you would have to make the same change in several different areas of the software. With Netchex it only takes once. This system is so user friendly it makes training a breeze. And the customer service is second to none!

Cons:

The only downside for me is I wish the time and attendance side was a little more updated with options.

Only use Netchex if all you need is a basic payroll system

If you are used to Paycom or are more modern in technology, this system will drive you crazy. This system makes my job harder in every aspect outside of payroll. Everything is the long way around. Let me give you a tiny snip of information to see what I am referring to: all holidays have to be manually added to timecards every time (there is no way to place your holidays in to auto place it for that day based on pay group etc.), no reports that are created can be ran to PDF, and while on reporting, there isn't a feature to search for what you are looking for. You have to click around to find where the item is to add it to your report. There is no feature to request a missed punch, so managers (or me) have to manually enter missed punches. I mean, I could go on for hours about how this system has made my life harder. If I could go back to Paycom, I would run not walk.

This system is a payroll system and that alone. Yes, they offer other "features", but know this is one of the most outdated systems I have ever used.
