Simple and Reliable Time Tracking

Overall, my experience has been positive. It makes tracking work hours straightforward and reliable, and it takes away the guesswork from managing timecards. While there’s room for improvement in customization and reporting, it’s been a helpful and efficient tool for keeping track of time.

I like how easy it is to clock in and out, whether from a computer or mobile device. The interface is simple and user-friendly, and it helps keep my work hours accurate without any extra hassle.

Cons:

Occasionally, the system can be a little slow to load, and sometimes I wish there were more reporting or filtering options to review hours in detail.

On-the-Clock from Quickbooks Online

The folks that helped with the conversion and initial setup were fantastic and timely with their work. They communicated well and within 2 days we were active.

Pros:

Converting from QuickBooks Online was a breeze. Running first payroll was flawless Contractor setup was a bit confusing, but it is great now My G/L posting is down to 4 entries instead of 12-15

Cons:

Reporting is pretty limited. It works for me since I only post the weekly PR entries on Quickbooks Desktop. I have not been through a Workers Comp audit with it, but that will be in the fall. My employees don't always tell me about a missed punch, so I have to watch those numbers.

Extremely easy to use, with good features for managing, and good pricing. Very reliable

Cons:

A bit complicated to configure, and somewhat restrictive in the customization side. Recent updates had improved this situation tho.

User friendly interface. Everything is user friendly. The whole app. Love it. User-Friendly Interface The app is intuitive and easy to navigate, making it simple to clock in/out without confusion. Quick Time Tracking Clocking in and out takes just a tap — it’s fast and responsive, which saves time during busy shifts. Accurate Time Records The app reliably tracks hours worked, which gives me confidence in my timesheets and pay accuracy. Mobile Accessibility Being able to use the app on my phone means managing my hours is convenient whether I’m at home or on the go. Clear Shift Details The shift summaries and total hours are easy to read and understand at a glance. Notifications/Reminders (if applicable) The reminders to clock in/out help me maintain accurate time tracking throughout the day. Reliable Performance I haven’t experienced crashes or major bugs, which makes the app dependable day to day. Good for Team Collaboration (if used by others)

Cons:

On the app, you can't put an exact time if an employee has a missed punch. The area I like least about the OnTheClock app is the limited flexibility in correcting or adjusting entries. When staff make mistakes, the process to fix them feels more time-consuming than it should be.

OnTheClock: Dependable Time Tracking, Light on Polish

It’s the kind of tool that doesn’t try to impress you—it just quietly does its job. Time tracking was reliable, employees picked it up quickly, and as a manager I didn’t spend much time troubleshooting or explaining things. That alone is a win. Not the most flexible or modern system, but a solid choice if you want accurate hours without complexity or extra fluff.

Pros:

Super simple clock-in/clock-out – employees don’t need much training at all. Open the app, tap once, done. Overall, it felt very practical: not flashy, just thoughtfully designed to remove everyday time-tracking pain.

Cons:

Editing punches can be clunky for managers—too many clicks for something that’s actually pretty common. So yeah—OnTheClock is solid and dependable, but it’s more “gets the job done” than “wow, this is elegant.” Perfect for straightforward time tracking, less so if your workforce rules are complicated or fast-growing.

Its simple to use, doesnt have any issues, its easy to see how many hours you have, it has a nice color palet. and its very cheap

Cons:

its very difficult to understand the week menu to see past weeks, the payrolll is not included for our tier which i consider pretty basic, we dont do payments or invoice neither

OnTheClock is very easy to use, I instantly was able to understand what to do, It took no time to set up. As soon as I pull up the web page I clock in and out within seconds

I did not have one thing that I disliked about OnTheClock. Like I said it is very userfriendly and suggest all businesses use this.

Pros:

Very reliable when it comes to updating the Status from CHECKED IN or CHECKED OUT. This is very neat because once you do it does not take a long time to process

Cons:

Sometimes the interface does not update properly and after you check out or in, it does not change the legend on the status. Thereby causing you to try again without the need to.
