About Payfit

Payfit is a cloud-based human resources solution designed to help small to midsize businesses automate the entire payroll lifecycle, from RTI submissions to leaves and expenses tracking. Key features include benefits management, payroll reporting, time tracking and on-boarding.

Teams using Payfit can maintain monthly payroll and accounting records in a journal, which can be downloaded in various formats and shared across organizations. The centralized platform allows enterprises to manage employee pension contributions and visualize monthly expenses including HMRC and pension submissions in a single table. Additionally, users can generate custom reports based on various factors such as age pyramid, gender gaps and cost of labor to facilitate decision making.

Payfit enables businesses to store numerous administrative documents including driving licenses, P45, payslips, contracts and more in a unified database for future reference. Pricing is available on a monthly subscription and support is extended via documentation and other online measures.

Easy to understand, easy to use, even if my job is not to manage the payroll employees. Support team is awesome, ready to help and available at any time.

Cons:

Nothing for now. Maybe I need a little bit more experience of use on it.

Reasons for choosing Payfit

Payfit is less complicated than Xero and I have no time to waste on payroll tasks: as said, this isn't my job, I need to run my business with ease. Payfit answered my needs.

Reasons for switching to Payfit

The price of Zoho is toooo expensive. They have no offer that would answer my real needs.

Great Solution for Payslips/Leave Requests

Pros:

Payfit is very easy to use as the UI is very easy there is really no learning curve. The layout is pretty simple and it's easy to find your payslips, overview of time off, requested time off, and request for leaves. It easily integrates with our HRIS system BambooHR.

Cons:

I think that the UI is a bit funky sometimes and doesn't make sense - it would be great to have landed on a different page when you want to request leave (like month view for example). I find that the support team is a bit slow to respond when we have bugs.

A payroll autopilot

I liked to use it to manage my employees’ payroll and their management every month. Everything I blame Payfit for is its price.

Pros:

I used Payfit for the output of payroll files and the different related declarations. The software does all alone and me, I only have to check afterwards.

Cons:

What I liked the least, obviously, is the price. Payfit surely offers a good payroll solution but with a downright high cost.

Pros:

Ease of use, the UI is also very clear. The legal information is up to date. You have reminders to help you to match your legal deadlines.

Cons:

The setup is tricky (but they have a great onboarding team) and long. The learning curve is also real.

- You can have one main admin and then secondary admins. You can't customize their abilities, they are preset.

It is a very useful tool to simplify the payroll in the company and has utilities such as time recording and gives a private access to workers to download their reports, payroll, request vacations, etc.

Cons:

It has so many things that a good training is necessary for the end user to understand everything. Sometimes it is difficult to find some options.

Easy to find payslips and no need to store papers. Awesome for work absences because we have a view of all absences in our team on a calendar. The view of remaining days if’s clear and well detailed.

Really easy and a huge amount of time that you don't have to spend on Excel or other lame shared documents

Cons:

Sometimes I make a mistake on the days off I ask or I want to change them and we can't. I have to delete the request and make another one. We should be able to modify the request until it has been accepted.
