About Tap My Back

Tap My Back is an easy-to-use employee recognition app/software to build a stronger organizational culture and improve performance. Integrated into MS Teams or Slack. Team managers can utilize the application to gain insights into private feedback activity on a leaderboard and track performance using activity graphs.

Features of Tap My Back include social recognition, (custom) rewards, user management, customizable branding, analytics, a news feed, skills management, scoring, template management, data export and reporting. It offers a feedback hub, which allows users to give and send feedback, select a deadline for request, rate with skill badges, add comments, and more. Additionally, managers can create template-based pulse surveys for gaining opinions from teams, multiple individuals, or a single employee.

It provides an application programming interface and facilitates integration with third-party applications such as Slack, Talkdesk, and Microsoft Teams. Pricing is available on monthly subscriptions and support is extended via a knowledge base, FAQs and other online measures.

    It get's the job done. The taps I believe are the feature we got more adoption on.
    Cons:
    It is not very flexible unless you get their their team to customize it for you. The interface is not pretty at all.

    What I liked about Tap My Back is that it normalizes and standardizes and thus allows you to give your team feedback in a positive, uniform way.
    Cons:
    Not every employee wants to be recognized publicly, there is a feature for one on one feedback I believe but I had a hard time finding it.

    I love the product itself. It promotes employee engagement and company morale. Customer support is phenomenal. I always get a quick reply and everyone is super helpful!
    Cons:
    There is not anything we don't like necessarily. The only thing I would like to see as a more robust feature would be analytics for the survey responses. They can be a little difficult to read.

    TapMyBack is an employee engagement and recognition platform. We liked most their Mood Surveying feature. It was designed to help organizations track employee sentiment and engagement regularly. It helped to track overall employee morale during organizational changes. It also helped Identifying patterns in team sentiment after major projects or events.
    Cons:
    Although the platform was generally user-friendly, introducing it to teams unfamiliar with peer recognition tools took time and effort to encourage consistent use​. Some team members reported occasional bugs, such as frequent logouts or issues with notifications. That was not big problem for us.

    The product is very intuitive on one side but on the other it has a lot of features and flexibility to modify if a person wants that. Rarely today apps can combine that features, easy to use with freedom to customize.
    Cons:
    I think some of the features of the app are not that visibile without research, and maybe prevents from opening the full potential of the app to the customer

    It's very friendly to incorporate into a team dynamic and processes with plenty of options to share and distribute taps across different channels.
    Cons:
    I guess the biggest drawback as a team leader is that I cannot see how a team member qualifies themself. It would be great to be able to access this so when we meet to set new development plans we both have both evaluations to compare and it can make conversations easier.

    Thanks to this app I can get the right feedback from my subordinates, taking in count opinions and also ideas for future implementation.
    Cons:
    I don´t have cons as for the app, but sometimes the information can loose a little bit of value when the employee feels overwhelmed by the size of the survey.
