About Bill4Time

Bill4Time is a cloud-based system designed to assist professional service organizations with time and expense tracking, billing and invoicing, and project management across various industries. The system enables users to record both billable and non-billable time for employees while also accommodating non-client time tracking for contractors and consultants. Time entries can be logged remotely or in-office, with functionality to convert appointments into billable time entries. versatile and simple, especially when on the go

I really like the ability to be cloud-based, meaning you can log hours and look at invoices from anywhere. The mobile app supports offline tracking and syncing later, which is handy when working on the go.

It does exactly what it’s designed to do: accurate time tracking, expense logging, project management, and quick invoice generation with customizable templates.

Cons:

A few things I wasn't a fan of are: populating clients, matters, tasks, and billing info takes manual steps that feel repetitive, especially up front.

I love Bill4time as it is intuitive and economical. It replaced an expensive Timeslips subscription I was looking at and is wonderful and easy to use.

Cons:

I wish the expenses could have an entry memorized that fills in, such as "Copies" so I did not have to type every time, but hopefully that will get addressed.

Bill4Time: Less time on billing.

I have saved a lot of money by using this software, and I would have otherwise had to spend a lot of time and money.

Pros:

The software has a very reasonable price for the number of users you are allowed, and the functionality. There are multiple configurations that each client can have depending on the fee structure, and I have never had a problem with creating a billing agreement that could not be expressed in this software.

Cons:

It is difficult to finalize the invoices, and occasionally, the software will have issues selecting which client to finalize an invoice for.

very good substitute for the Legal Works Program we had been using for about 10 years .

I like that my billing program and file data program are available and I can manage my law practice with this program without having to spend a fortune

Cons:

Calendar needs default to "all users", contacts needs a search feature, Calendar needs to show more entries before going to "show more" additional, Client needs a way to show entire address with email address for posting into emails and letters, Payments needs a way to post retainer payments without an invoice for the same. Invoices are too difficult to amend in mass so using drafts to do billing leaves ability to clean up wording and move to other clients.

Wonderful Time Keeping Program

Bill4Time is a well written and thought out program. It's easy to administer and it's easy to work with as a user. Very user friendly for those who are not tech savvy.
