About Flowhaven

Flowhaven is a license management software designed to help businesses across a variety of verticals including sports, film and TV, manufacturers, and more manage brand licensing operations. Built on Salesforce, the platform enables organizations to create and verify custom agreements using predefined templates.

Flowhaven includes asset management functionality, which allows administrators to share and track assets with multiple users across departments. It offers a host of features such as secure data storage, customizable dashboard, tasks automation, mobile access, email alerts, workflow guides and navigation tools. Additionally, supervisors can use the content management module to define sharing permissions and download options, facilitating secure distribution of content across multiple user groups.

Flowhaven lets managers gain insights into contracts, invoices, royalty/contact validation, error alerts and more through reports. Pricing includes monthly subscriptions and support is extended via phone, email and other online measures.

Pros:

We license our brands to companies around the world. Despite all licensing deals following the same format, the detailed parameters differ from deal to deal and it's very easy to lose track of what is going on where. Using Flowhaven we are able to input all these complicated parameters and let the system work it's magic. Working from a signed agreement we can input everything from Territories to the Distribution Channels. Our licensees can access the pre agreed Assets, they input the SKUs and Product minutiae. At the end of every Accounting Quarter we are also able to input the supplied Royalty Statements. The Flowhaven system will automatically check the statement against the information that has been previously inputted. This enables us to get accurate Reports and enables us to see if there are any discrepancies in the report. It's a very clever system that has a huge amount of thought and programming put into it.

Cons:

The hard bit is your initial adoption of the system. You need to learn how to use it quickly if you wish to get the best out of it. The support from the Flowhaven team is excellent and they generally respond to your query within 20 minutes. Your licensees will also need to learn a new way of submitting products for approval, but again this isn't difficult.

Reasons for choosing Flowhaven

Flowhaven is an 'All In One Box' solution. I love Google however and we are already fully immersed in the Google Universe so we do have an alternative. The reason I went with Flowhaven is because this is all that they do, and the customer service is excellent.
