A wonderful solution for streaming content

We have 26 cameras running off a Precision Linux server and the utilization is minimum. The second Server for another location went live last week and is supporting a similar number of camera. The ability to scale the resolution based on consumer's device is awesome. To save bandwidth you have the option to turn off and on the streaming on demand. This will also satisfy a lot of people concerns with privacy issues.

Pros:

The application is extremely easy to deploy and use. Once fully set up, the whole setup can be tucked in a dark corner for a while.

Cons:

Documentation may be sometimes difficult to understand. Albeit there is a wealth of information available, I have found myself in situations where the existing notes were not enough to solve the problem. However, support was there to help.

Pros:

love the ultra-low latency streaming. Its scalable architecture easily handles from dozens to thousands of concurrent viewers. The flexible deployment options and strong free Community Edition (im using paid plan) offer great value and control. customer support was top notch. fast to answer and helpful with settings and bug reports too.

Cons:

nothing was bad even the installation was easy. i would say the admin panel could have more features

Pros:

I had a small issue, our SSL certificate did not renew, this prevented us from streaming webrtc. I sent an email to support and they responded quickly. It was handled within 24 hours.

Cons:

I have not had any real issues, support is as good as you can get. If there was one issue, it's speaking to a live person. You know you are in a panic, your system is down who to you call? This is always nice to know you can speak to a live agent.

There is nothing to describe here. Maybe add more payment possibilities for Antmedia License purchase.

I love how easy it is to set up and how easy it is to manage in the dashboard. The customer support always gets back to us and allows for easier feature implementation

Cons:

The system is great across the board. We kept switching between AWS and self hosted, each with some benefits and disadvantages, but overall ok.

Great product! Great support!

We are using Ant Media Server to monitor autonomous tractors. I can honestly say that it is an awesome product. Because of a new requirement from Google on Android apps regarding 16kb memory page support, we needed an update of the Ant Media Android SDK. After I registered the issue with the Ant Media team, they provided a new version to test out within 3 days. Absolutely awesome support!

Cons:

The last update on the Ant Media Android SDK was from 2024. I would be better if it was regularly updated for security reasons. Nevertheless, it was updated quickly after creating an issue with the team.

AntMedia is handling our streaming services exceptionally well. A big shoutout to their support team, who have provided outstanding assistance, even on weekends, helping us keep our services running smoothly and without disruption. Their responsiveness and expertise have been invaluable in maintaining a reliable streaming experience.

Cons:

One limitation we noticed is that even with a high-performance VM, a single AntMedia server can become unstable or exhibit unexpected behavior when handling over 500 connected feeds. For larger-scale workloads, deploying a clustered setup is essential to maintain stability and performance.
