Cost-effective Observability Tool

As a Developer and a professional technical writer, I constantly like to run learning experiments to study new technologies, Middleware helps me a lot with performance monitoring for almost all my experiments. I have also used it to debug issues on my test apps.

Comprehensive monitoring capabilities: Middleware offers a wide range of monitoring capabilities, allowing deeper insights into the performance of our systems and applications.Easy Integration and Setup: The installation setup was easy and quick. I didn’t face any challenge what’s so ever.
Cons:
Limited Customization Options: They do offer the ability to create custom dashboards, but I personally didn’t feel it to be so useful.

Reasons for choosing Middleware

Price and product features. We did sign up for Datadog's free trial but found it difficult to use. Middleware, on the other hand, was easy-to-use.

Full-stack observability platform with shallow learning curve.

I tried Middleware during my upskilling process, where I tried, tested and learned various observability tools. As someone who also used other observability tools, I found Middleware to be the least complicated. The tool was easy to use, they had detailed documentation, and their installation process was relatively easier than Datadog. I continue to use them for my side projects and experiments.

Shallow learning curve. As someone relatively new to the DevOps ecosystem, I found Middleware to be very easy to use and set up. I rarely had to ask the support team for any help; when I did, they quickly resolved it.
Cons:
To be honest, I didn’t notice any downside of using Middleware. However, I noticed that they offer integration to a very limited number of third-party services and apps.
