About Buffer

Buffer is a social media management platform for small to midsize businesses that helps users publish content, engage clients and analyze their social media performance. It facilitates the planning, execution, and analysis of social media strategies, aiming to improve engagement and follower growth. The platform offers a cohesive and streamlined approach to handling social media content through various tools aimed at optimizing user performance and efficiency.

A key feature of Buffer is its ability to schedule posts across various social media platforms. This functionality allows users to plan their posts in advance, setting precise dates and times for publication, thus ensuring a consistent social media presence. The scheduling tool is designed to work seamlessly with major platforms, providing users with the ability to manage their social media content from a single dashboard.

In addition to scheduling, Buffer provides analytics that enable users to measure the performance of their social media posts. these metrics, users can refine their strategies to better meet their marketing goals. Buffer also offers a feature for monitoring user engagement. This tool allows users to keep track of interactions with their audience, such as comments and likes, across multiple accounts and platforms. As a result, businesses can strengthen their connections with clients and respond efficiently to feedback, fostering improved communication and customer relationships. Users can connect Buffer with various apps and services that complement their social media strategies. Buffer integrates with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+ and Pinterest. Social media posts can be customized for each platform and then sent out to all platforms at once. Buffer can also automatically publish social media posts at predetermined times. Buffer has a browser extension and mobile apps so that users can share and create social media posts from anywhere. Best low price multi platform social media publishing service

5

Overall I've had a good experience. Besides the set up, sometimes I have a hard time publishing because one of the social media services doesn't like the shape of the picture I'm trying to put out. I have to resize it a few times.

Pros:
I've been using Buffer on and off for many years now but regularly for over 6 months. It's been an interesting ride. I really like the capabilities of being able to publish to three platforms, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. The scheduling is the next most important thing to me and it has worked well.
Cons:
For starters I had a heck of a time connecting Instagram and Facebook to Buffer. I had to jump through a bunch of hoops and didn't enjoy wasting hours of my time. To be clear, I don't think it is Buffers fault. I'm pretty sure Meta makes Buffer do all this. It doesn't matter though, I had to work hard to get it all set up.

Reasons for switching to Buffer

Buffer has a free plan that got us started and hooked. It also has all the features we need and is easy enogh to use once it gets set up.

Buffer Review

5

Overall my experience with buffer was really great. I ended up moving to another post scheduler due to the necessity of multiple post queues, but really miss the overall ease of use with buffer.

Pros:
Buffer has a very easy to use interface, and auto-scheduling and reorganizing scheduled posts is extremely easy. The workflow feels intuitive and I never had to pull out the FAQ to figure out how to do what I wanted.
Cons:
The lack of ability to have multiple post scheduling queues for a single social media account. One queue works fine if you only post a single type of content, but having to manually schedule or re-organize the schedule if you have multiple post types (images, video, text, etc) gets really tedious.

Pros:
I saved the company $500 by switching to Buffer. I enjoy the software for scheduled post and analytics.
Cons:
The interface is pretty dull but simple.

Reasons for switching to Buffer

I switched because Hootsuite went up in price and Buffer offered the same service with options in pricing per channel.

Pros:
Buffer makes it insanely simple to line up our posts across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter without having to log into Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. I enjoy the clean design in which you can see an entirely week schedule at a glance.
Cons:
Analytics are a little limited unless you upgrade to a higher plan and that doesn’t always work for a small nonprofit budget.

Cool once you’re paying

I ended up using it after trying another tool that was super expensive. I pretty much use it for all my posts, even if I could skip it for simple ones, but like, I gotta make the subscription worth it.

Pros:
I like Buffer’s interface, feels cleaner than other tools I tried. What works well for me is how easy it is to hook up social media accounts.
Cons:
The annoying part is if you don’t pay, better not even bother. It lets you set up everything and then when you’re ready to go, you get blocked with a payment pop-up.

Pros:
Love how I can just queue all my posts at once and don’t touch them again, it makes my weekly planning way easier and I can cover all platforms from one screen.
Cons:
Sometimes I wish I could preview exactly how it looks per platform before it posts, so I still go back and forth which kinda wastes the time I just saved.
