Kit vs Mailchimp: Which is best for you?

I do admire KIT as it is for a very segmented group of users, creators, and has built their whole product around servicing them which is awesome. If you are not a creator with an audience I would not consider KIT. If you are a creator, it is the best.

For agencies, they forced that the pre-paid credits expire in a year, and the list plans aren't worth the money unless you send a lot of frequent mails. If you send campaings from time to time to different customers, unless your volume is huge, fees make it unpayable. If you are an end user, then the story is different and prices will make more sense (maybe that's their idea of customers right now).
