DropTrack - a great place for Labels to receive music submissions.

I have been using DropTrack to receive music submissions for quite a while now (years). I find it a great and easy way to communicate back and forth between label and artists, with easy widgets for embedding onto our website so we can receive submissions from there. Some of these have even gone on to be full releases on our label, and a musical partnership that brings value to all concerned - artists, label, and fans,

Pros:

DropTrack is a great place for labels, music directors, radio stations, podcasts, or anything wanting to receive and manage music submissions. And for pro-submissions, you get paid so that DropTrack can be another revenue stream for music entrepreneurs.

Cons:

I still get music from artists in genres I am not interested in, submit to my label. This is interesting because I have made it clear what genres we are looking for!?

It’s been a positive experience even though I feel I’m getting nowhere it has been a way to feel like I might be finding an audience.

Pros:

I like that they have free ways to promote your content. Most places charge and back their claims by bots. It’s nice to be able to reach out to lots of professionals and try to find your audience for free, because when you don’t have an audience you probably don’t have money for any promotion services. Drop track seems to care about supporting artists with opportunity more than lining their own pockets which is refreshing and rare.

Cons:

I don’t like the high prices of the charges. The guarantee listen offer and requirements make it feel like you waste your time unless you pay, discouraging many from even using the service in the first place.

I wanted a cheaper solution that would help me get the ball rolling to find fans and get streams to make actual money and get an actual audience

FIRSTLY: i LOVE the communications!!! It's so cool to be heard! And then there's the FREE OPTION MEMBERSHIP which allows me to have MY MUSIC HEARD! The limit is five songs, so I'm so glad i could upload them xxx I haven't done much in the way of MUSIC for quite while but since starting again, this time collaborating with Ai (suno.com) I am so, so glad that the Music Industry is keeping up with us Indi Artists xxx

Of course, I was not too happy to only submit five tracks, but that's how spoiled i am, and the other thing that got to me was that I was so disappointed that everywhere I was looking to get noticed, I would need BUCKEROOS to increase my chances ... not AnyOne's fault I don't have money xxx just me and my quirks xxx

A great service, and company! I hope there will be more options!

I'd say that it was okay when it came to experience of DropTrack, but there was very limited record labels for pop music artists like me, so there wasn't any options for submitting to record labels, or DJs that would love pop song music consideration. Overall, it was somewhere in the middle, but not saying that it's terrible. I hope one day, there will be a wider option for submissions. Perhaps, in the future there could be seo-based audience targeting for submitting to record labels, DJs, and press releases so that the audience is more interested.

The are lots of options to choose from: uploading music and tracks, and earnings as well. There is value for money because not only there is customer support, there is also great marketing content out there such as press release.

Cons:

The least thing I liked about DropTrack was the learning curve because I didn't know how to improve just by looking at the analytics, I wish there was a support system on improving the mastering of the songs such as from content creation, and customization options for mastering.

I love the fact that drop track gives you your own links to add to websites for label demo submissions or you can receive submissions straight from drop track and get notified from your email. You can run champagne’s to promote your brand weather your a label or an artist.

Cons:

I have no complaints about drop track in anyway at all.

Drop track helps young musicians to get close to their dreams and heared. They allow everyone to submit their music and also let people know which record labels want submissions everytime

I will be honest they can reverse submission and not send any feedback as to why it is done that way.
