Pros / Cons
  • As much as I like being able to have new features in order to do new things in the app, I would say Instagram updates its app with a lot of new features very often, and most of the time, without warning or new training in how to use or navigate your way through the updated version.
  • The regulation of number of pages, you are allowed to like per timeframe when starting a new business page that you’re trying to attract attention to and it limits the number of follows you can click per day makes it a bit difficult to grow your audience organically

  • The app not only serves as a communication tool for neighborhood watch programs but is also a place to post babysitting recommendations, local cleaning services, free giveaways, yard sales, and neighborhood events.
  • The moderators are out of control in Western Massachusetts. If you are a liberal, then you will love this app because you will be part of the mob and be protected and supported by the moderators. If you you are independent or conservative then I highly recommend not using this app unless you want to constantly fight for almost every post or comment to stay up in the feed and be attacked by the mob.
