Good in Identifying Website Issues

It is solving the issue if doing backlink analysis. It's PA DA and Spam Score checking feature in one click is still the most beneficial thing in its extension. Also checking if the website gives do follow or no follow link is easy through extension.

What I like best about Moz Pro is its website keyword rank tracking tool, which is more akin to the rankings that we track on Google. It identifies website issues as they occur. Its interaction with the web analytics tool is rather simple when compared to similar software on the market.

Cons:

It logs out after switching off the pc which is quite annoying something. Needs to be fixed. Otherwise features are amazing.

My Favorite SEO Tool

Our company is a digital marketing company so we utilize a lot of the available SEO tools and Moz is one of the favorites among my team.

There are a lot of features offered and data is provided very quickly. You can easily set up and store different campaigns and a lot of insights available.

Cons:

Not a lot of customization in the reporting. There are also a lot of error messages that occur when utilizing the different features of the site.

Pros:

Moz is one of the first tools I use when doing keyword research. Even at the free tier, it's a super helpful tool. They have a suite of free tools available, and each are well worth paying for. Their content is also educational and genuinely helpful. Highly recommend.

Cons:

There's really nothing to dislike. They offer a lot for free, and pack a lot of value into the paid tools.

Good Value for the Cost

Moz is easy to use and has been great for allowing our in-house content team to quickly perform simple keyword research.

Moz Pro has a more intuitive & user-friendly interface than other SEO tools and is a great option for an in-house team of mid-level SEOs - people who aren't necessarily looking to dive deeply into the super nitty-gritty stuff.

Cons:

The estimated keyword volumes seem to be much lower than those reported by the other tools we use. The number of ranking keywords also seems to be less than what other tools report for many URLs.

Moz is good SEO software but there are now better options available

Moz used to be the industry-leading SEO software when Rand Fishkin was the face of the company. But after he left, Moz has kind of been passed with Ahrefs and SEMRush who offer more advanced features, a better UI, and cheaper prices.

I liked how Moz was able to detect technical SEO issues that I had with my website, and it picked up some additional issues that weren't found with Ahrefs. The site audit feature is also very good.

Cons:

The data doesn't seem to be as accurate as with Ahrefs or SEMRush. The interface is outdated and clunky. I don't like the 'Moz Spam Score' metric, which is not used by any other SEO software or Google. It appears to be an outdated metric and is only updated every 3-6 months - in the world of fast-pasted SEO, that is too infrequent for my preference. I also don't like that I reached out to customer support and just received a generic copy-paste response that didn't address my query at all.

Reasons for switching to Moz Pro

I tried out Moz again to see how it compares to Ahrefs for SEO and keyword research but ended up returning to Ahrefs instead.

Moz is a good tool, but it's not quite 'great' due to a few problems

While Mozpro is something i'd really like to like as a Seattle native, but it's not something i actually used in practice even with my company provided license. I use their training and webinars but not the tool as Semrush and Ahrefs is superior

Moz has just about everything you could need to run a SEO business or just do SEO for your own website. With good support articles, help section, and support they know what they're doing and want your site to succeed.

Cons:

Moz, in my own experience compared to other software, consistently gave different results for things like rank and volume. This was terrible when i was using multiple services at once to double check work. The other issue is the design layout is not easy to use nor intuitive.

Local SEO Experts - This Is The Tool

As many local SEO experts know, having a consistent NAP is incredibly important. MozLocal will not only highlight those inconsistencies on different major directories - they will also show businesses exactly where they should get their business listed.

- Very easy to use - Small learning curve - Moz support is one of the best in the industry - The Moz Local tool is easily top of the line - Provides extensive data on local listings - Useful and beneficial

A ranking and reporting tool from the experts in SEO themselves!

Been using Moz website for years in terms of their blogs and reading updates in the SEO world, however only recently have upgraded to Pro for the reporting.

Pros:

Customized reports and rankings in one place, easy to generate info on traffic, keyword movements and individual URL rankings for any website/project. The interface is modern and colored to help differentiate between data sets and as an SEO company, having the powerful Moz brand behind your reporting doesn't hurt! I really like the "featured snippets" integration, as most other reporting tools will only show basic rich results.

Cons:

Takes a long time to setup, but well worth it in the end as the reporting is comprehensive and seems very accurate when cross checking with SERPs and other tools.

My Experience With MOZ Pro

The most important feature that an SEO professional cannot live without is DA and PA, it always helps to track results of the efforts. Backlink Analyzer is really helpful to analyze backlinks to disavow toxic backlinks that can harm website in a way or other. All-in-all we use it to measure effects our SEO efforts and the overall health of our websites.

Pros:

Moz offers multiple tools to make the lives of SEO professionals easier. It calculates metrics (DA and PA) to see the ranking strength of a website. In addition to that, it offers a SERP Rank Tracker to tool to check website rankings for specific keywords against competitors', a Keyword Tracker for getting keyword ideas, a Backlinks Analyzer to analyze backlink profiles and identify toxic links, an SEO Auditor to audit a website to figure out gapes and flaws in technical SEO, and a Link Builder to build good quality links in a few clicks.

Cons:

Their customer support is not that good. A tool to analyze competition does not provide accurate data sometimes. Some critical tools, such as Citation Builder and Reputation Manager, are missing from the Moz Local tool. Moz Local does not offer a free trial either.
