First Contact - Quartile

We chose to work with Quartile because of their use of AI in managing Amazon accounts, which was a key differentiator for us. We're still in the early stages of the partnership, but so far the communication has been efficient, and the initial support has been promising. Our expectations are high, especially regarding performance optimization through data-driven automation.

Pros:

One of the things I appreciated most about Quartile was the quality of communication—clear, proactive, and always aligned with our business goals. The team maintained transparency throughout every stage, from onboarding to performance reviews. Additionally, I was impressed by their technical knowledge and strategic insights. They demonstrated a solid understanding of advertising platforms and data analysis, which allowed us to optimize campaigns effectively and make informed decisions. This combination of strong communication and deep technical expertise made the partnership truly valuable.

Good tool overall. Reliable and recognized with many features, our company uses for Amazon Marketing.

Positive experience overall. We've had some months where we've underperformed but they generally try to do the right thing and keep you happy as a customer.

Pros:

Good service and generally good attention to the accounts they serve. Their algorithm can be very powerful. They are very accessible if you have any issues with your account, will always try to please clients.

Cons:

Their algorithm isn't always easy to understand. They do a decent to good job with Amazon sponsored products ads and display ads, but not with sponsored brands ads, as they don't have a way to create those in an automated fashion. Also their bids for these don't always make sense. I wish they had a better way to select and autopopulate good keywords into the sponsored brands ads, this would be a key improvement (all types of sponsored brands ads, those going to stores, sponsored brand video, etc.).

Reasons for switching to Quartile

Still use Jungle scout for other features but not for Amazon ad management. Quartile much fuller and customized solution with personalized account management.

Total disappointment

When I came back to quartile, I had been running my own Amazon PPC at an average of 40% ACOS. I was wanting to bring this down and, obviously, Quartile claimed that the could do this and it would only take a month or so for their algorithm to achieve this. Each month they came up with excuses as to why my ACOS was hovering around 70-80% This went on for 5 months. I lost a small fortune during this time! In January I emailed them to give notice and stated that, if they couldn't get my ACOS below 50% during the next month they should take this as my notice. The ACOS remained high and so I terminated my contract with them. They then billed me for a further month, ignoring the fact that I had already given notice. Their supposed AI algorithm simply doesn't work with the new complexity of Amazon advertising. I would not consider using them again and would highly recommend that you give them a wide berth. They promise the world and completely fail to deliver.

I first used Quartile before Covid and was happy with the results. I came back to them at the end of last year and their service this time around has failed me completely.

Cons:

They didn't listen to my requests at all. I was looking to bring down my ACOS and instead it over doubled. In the 5 months I was with them my average ACOS was over 70%. The 5th month had ACOS running at 75% I gave them 60 days notice that, if they couldn't bring my ACOS down, I would terminate my contract with them. After termination, they continued to bill me.

Pros:

Affordable and easy on-boarding process. No contracts and no fluff. They focus on solely running and optimizing ads with good data, while we can get creatives put together in house for them to use in advertising. We have saved a lot doing it this way, compared to the past when we hired an "all-in-one" agency that also did creatives.

Cons:

Wish we could have someone that works in the back-end of Amazon. We would even pay extra to have an "Amazon Account Manager". Amazon back-end is super complicated and problems arise all the time. As of right now, we still have to launch any promos on our end, then inform Quartile we are ready to run the ads for the campaign.

Great Online Advertising Management

Expert management of our online advertising programs. They provide us with a human monitored, automated program that helps us have the best of both worlds.

Cons:

It is not the least expensive option. We appreciate the fact that to have a good end result, you have to spend money and so we do.

Cons:

there is NO simple version on the soft to see metrics, all the info is accurate but not easy to handle if u are not familiar with it and in my particular case i handle a lot of different softs so i would like to see straightfoward what im looking for
