Pros / Cons
  • Our business used them for 10 years and we couldn't have been treated more poorly. When I was promoted and able to implement changes, we went with Mangomint, which is less expensive, and would recommend to anyone and everyone.
  • Difficult and overcomplicated for everything, way too many buttons to try to find one specific thing and it was never under the button or subheading that you thought it would be under for example, the receptionist was on lunch so I had to cash my client out, someone came in just after and wanted to buy a gift card, I looked under all of the headings that it would make sense for it to be under then called in another esthetician and then another one got called in, it was starting to feel like the beginning of a joke "6 estheticians were trying to sell a gift card..." And none of us could figure it out, we had to call the receptionist back and it took her about 10 minutes before she could figure it out and it was under a weird category like "daily tallys".

  • As a proud member of Gen X I've used all kinds of calendar "apps" in my life, starting with real calendars hanging from the kitchen door, then upgrading to pocket-sized calendars shoved into my back pocket. When my boss plopped the first 286-Intel computer on my desk back in the mid-90s and told me to 'figure it out' I played around with the first few generations of calendars that were included in the Microsoft products but always gave up in frustration since they were stuck in the computer and I still had to carry around a hard copy of my schedule when I left work. But finally, Google heard my cries in the wilderness and gave me Google calendar.
  • Recurring events can’t be easily customized for exceptions or irregular schedules, and there’s no built-in task hierarchy to help organize priorities or subtasks.
