About EZClaim

EZClaim Medical Billing is a medical billing software that caters to both single and multi-provider practices. It can be deployed both on-premise and in the cloud. This software assists users through the entire billing and scheduling process and can also be integrated with third-party electronic medical record (EMR) software system.

Key features of EZClaim Medical Billing include electronic billing, eligibility verification, patient statements and customized superbill. Its drag and drop appointment capabilities aid the scheduling of appointments. Claim scrubbing, billing services and electronic patient statements are also available for purchase separately. A task management system allows for follow-up of workflows, thus reducing overhead.

EZClaim Medical Billing features customizable time slot border and background colors for the classification and management of appointment scheduler. Available on a monthly subscription basis, the solution offers support via phone and email to its customers.

EZ Claim makes my life easy

Overall, I have nothing but positive words to say about EZClaim. From navigating billing, payments, and even addressing support tickets, the whole team has been great and supportive

Pros:

EZClaim is very user-friendly and streamlines the majority of the billing process through its built-in automations. Its ability to integrate and communicate with other software systems has been especially valuable. We were even able to develop our own EMR and seamlessly import claims into EZClaim without difficulty.

Cons:

Its reporting features can feel somewhat clunky, and the reports could be more intuitive and easier to read.

Reasons for switching to EZClaim

WebPT did not integrate well and was restricting a lot of information regarding our claims and was very expensive

EZClaim is easy to use!

I have been using EZClaim for many years and have always been very satisfied. The layout for a small billing practice is perfect. Information is clear and relevant to my needs. I can generate reports to my providers giving them essential information about their patients and practices.

Pros:

Ease of use is the most important item. It helps to make my practice run smoothly and time efficient. I have looked at other programs in the past and find EZClaim the best value for the money. It gives me the exact information I need in clear, easy to understand format.

Cons:

Not much! Any glitches are dealt with quickly and efficiently. I have never encountered an issue that wasn't quickly resolved.

Reasons for choosing EZClaim

EZClaim is specific to my behavioral health billing practice. I don't need to integrate EHR. I worked with a provider who used Tebra (Kareo) and while I tried to learn that system for the billing end, it was very complicated and confusing.

Easy Peasy

Fairly easy to use. It is frustrating as the administrator that I cannot reset the passwords for my staff, especially given that we have multiple employees cycling through.

Pros:

I like that it is easy to use as I have a lot of rotating staff and turnover at our front office. I That it is now a cloud based service and I do not have to be onsite to access the database as I work in a different location.

Cons:

Cannot build custom reports. Cannot have two instances open at once. Cannot hide/remove fields that do not apply to our practice. That a claim does not open to the date field and to the POS field. I would also like to be able to build out the statements in different formats and what I call our superbill in scheduler. I would love if I could sync scheduler with Gmail.

The BEST billing software

The support in ezClaim is great. I feel like I get assistance and answers quickly. I am able to very easily see all of my data and also have reports that can show almost anything!

I could not be happier with ezClaim! As a billing company I love the ease of having multiple clinics in one application. The ability to easily search all claim and service line data is fantastic. I use this feature multiple times per day. I have been using ezClaim for about 5 years and haven't seen a software since that I think is better; and I have been on many demos with new clients. So many software systems just get too complicated and fancy. I love the ease and simplicity of ezClaim.

Cons:

It works well importing claims from Practice Fusion as a EHR, but a downfall for sure for many clinics is that it isn't an all in one.

Reasons for switching to EZClaim

Wanted a web based multi user system with more features but really needed a software that would integrate with practice fusion.

Our small practice is growing and this grows with us!

The onboarding was so amazing, the info I learned was so great. It honestly was so easy and you just can't screw it up. Once we were onboarded things went pretty smoothly. Right now its trying to figure out the tricks to make things even faster. Oh and tech support and customer service has been super amazing and quick when I have issues.

The ease of use, ease of navigating, the value for the money. It was pretty easy to learn and they have so many videos to learn tricks of the program also.

Cons:

That it did not integrate with our EHR so everything was manual entry, no fault of theirs though. I also am still trying to figure out tricks to make things faster and easier, so many things to navigate that it takes time to get to some of the easy stuff.

Honestly, it felt like others were promising things they couldn't actually deliver, I felt EZ Claim was being more honest and working with the fact we couldn't integrate with our EHR, Also they were easier to use and get set up quickly.

Promising EZ Billing Software

Overall my experience with EZClaim is very good, I love the ease of use, it has been very reliable over the years; I have not experience any down time where the software is not working. It is easy to log in, and if I do have any questions, a live person will reach out to me, or I can call and speak to someone over the phone.

Pros:

We have been using EZ-CLAIM for many years now, and I love the ease of use. I also like the fact if we are updating the Ez-Claim software, if any issues arises, I have always been able to email or contact a representative, who is always very professional and able to quickly resolve my issues.

Cons:

I wish that each statements matched with each individual claim ID number; this would make it easier to attached the correct claim number to the statement.

We chose EZClaim, because it was easy to set-up and straight forward as far as entering data. It also provided the necessary alternatives, such as the clearing house, and providing statements to be processed.

Would be lost without it

I am satisfied with the usefulness of system to our business and would be lost without it. I would love a system to find out what types of things we are not using but could.

Pros:

I like the easiness of uploading and sending out the claims to all the carriers. I would like to start using the system to also upload the payments and learn some of the things that I do not know. It is a subsidiary for our accounting program and provides us with a true rule of business and patient portal.

Cons:

I know there is more I do not know and wish there was a training system to learn from, I fill like we do not use it to its full potential for our business.

Great Billing Software

EZClaim has been great for our billing company. The software is very easy to learn and use. The onboarding team was great and very helpful to get everything set up. The pricing is a reasonable and a value for what they offer. Customer service is attentive and responsive.

The ease of use, value for money, customer service is easy to access and responsive. Very little bugs or issues. Onboarding team helped our team get set up and ensured everything was running smooth. Support is easy to access and get responses.

Cons:

It can be a little difficult to get someone on the phone for help but the responsiveness via email makes up for it.

Long time user of EzClaim

I have used Ezclaim for 16 years now for 5 different offices and have been pleased with the ease of use. Haven't found a better software especially for reports and control of how claims need to be submitted

Easy to use, useful and easy to understand reports, patient bill pay option now available, patient statement options

Cons:

Not fully integrated with Practice Fusion. When patient demo updates are made in Practice Fusion the office has to make the biller aware so it can also be updated in EzClaim. If there is a name or DOB correction Ezclaim creates a duplicate account.

Reasons for choosing EZClaim

Pricing was much more reasonable when combined with Practice Fusion. More control over claims processing. Not a fan of AI scrubbing
