Centralized patient data and digital file uploads give users a complete patient overview. Data is securely entered, saved, and accessed from any device. Financial reporting allows users to view financials, appointment trends, no-shows, and cancellations. Automated payment postings and custom automated email reports are also included in the billing software. Customizable scheduling is available for multiple facilities, doctors, and providers. EMR was okay, billing service wasn't worth the money

We switched to HENO because we wanted the billing service and a robust system. While it is a robust system, we had a few issues that made it difficult to use at times. We had a decent amount of trouble with the billing service. For example, they would call one of our payers and just take the standard answer they got instead of investigating whether what the rep said was actually true. We considered removing the billing service and just doing the EMR, but that was pretty expensive so we decided to just switch.

I’ve had 2 case managers in 35 years with OTHER EMR n billing services and and a 24 hour turnaround with ALL communications. WITH HENO, In less than 2 years I’ve had 2 case managers and lucky to get a response in a week. Bullys!! I chose Heno because their ‘promised’ services and they located were in Florida where my business was located. Initially very nice n likable, then the ‘honey is over’ with changes in services n no notification. Over the last year, my case manager had decreased her hours and moved to AZ with no notification. The communication turn around went from 3 day average to over a week. Be forewarned of HENO’s bait n switch tactics. Also be aware that you are dealing with software engineer owners. The potential for vindictive actions against your complaints is real.

The reps at HENO have been fabulous. Always get answers to questions within hours. They were SUPER helpful with a lot of hand holding during the set up/changing of the systems. It is very reasonably cost for everything you get. I would definitely recommend.

Excellent. I have been a therapist for 39 years and have been on paper charts. So to change this late in the game was scary. I was fairly convinced it would be painful but I liked the team right away and they really delivered for our clinic and I am seeing better reimbursement because the software is very organized and there are less errors and our biller is on top of any problem. Our documentation is much improved because of the prompting to do re evals and the ease of documentation.

I felt that the software was pricey with prompt and although you paid less for the billing I just did not think they would put that much time into the billing. The money was made with the software. Secondly I felt they were gimmicky if that makes sense. Practice Perfect was an inferior product compared to Heno. I was also interested in the metrics and I think HENO is very good for producing charts and graphs.

I never used their emr . I felt it was confusing and time consuming. And I needed to be able to use a lap top in the clinic. That EMR had to be on a computer. So I have been ony using the appointment scheduler and I did paper charts. My clinic was too busy to do the paper charts. I was falling behind and not keeping up with POCs. I was paying too much in overtime.

Selecting an EMR is a high-stakes decision. I wanted to ensure that we had an integrated platform that my staff could learn quickly, would be easily integrated with billing services, and could grow with us for long-term use, but that wouldn't be cost-prohibitive for our non-profit. After utilizing the system for almost a year, I am thrilled that we decided to partner with HENO. Even though we are a small contract, I've never FELT like a small contract. We required substantial support initially, and the HENO staff was incredibly patient, thorough, and systematic. I have never had to wait for a HENO response for more than a few minutes. I would recommend HENO without reservation.

To clarify, you can copy an appointment forward by clicking the clipboard check-mark on the lower left hand side of an appointment that is already scheduled, and then paste that appointment wherever you click your mouse next. Then, you can click "create and copy" to paste that appointment, and copy it forward again. The system will allow you to continue doing that perpetually assuming you don't want to set recurring appointments. Let us know if you need a hand with this feature. :-) PS- HENO just added a preview button to the template builder so that should make your life much easier :-).
