    So easy to use, plus great customer service.
    Cons:
    Honestly, it's so good, that there's not much to complain about, and over the last decade, any time I've found an issue, they've fixed it and improved the product!

    Midex Pro is a fantastic software for private medical practice management. It has all the features needed to run a practice smoothly. No additional software is required. Great customer service too.
    Cons:
    Could do with a multi practice task assignment feature for secretaries handling multiple practices at once.

    My overall experience of Midex has been successful and beneficial as it has allowed both myself and my Consultant to easily access information on a patient.

    What I most like about Midex is that it allows you to look up patient information in one place quickly and all the information about a patient is stored in an easy to locate way in date order.
    Cons:
    The one thing I don't like about Midex is on the 'document comments' function within the 'actions tab', when you enter comments it does not show if these have been read, seen or displays the date they were posted and by whom to allow an audit trail to be kept and to also make sure that messages have been read.

    35 years of uninterrupted successful practice, mostly due to Midex in the background. The ability to generate clinic letters and at the same time produce invoices is very helpful. The report section is also invaluable, not least when generating reports for HMRC.

    Great back room support - the best. Nothing too much trouble and problems and efficiently solved. Very good value for money, especially when tax allowance is consjdered
    Cons:
    Nothing. There is no significant problem and there is a constant development of new features. Not all the features will be used by all, but they are there if you wish.

    It covers all the needs for a healthcare SME, and the support is outstanding - there is always a (very pleasant and helpful) human ready to take a call and help
    Cons:
    Would appreciate the package focussing also on other professions specifically eg facilities to add psychometric questionnaires and online completion and scoring; giving patients access to own records etc

    The customer service was great. Dan was super helpful throughout and always on hand to answer questions.
    Cons:
    Nothing so far. We are new to the system and at the moment, we require some adaptive changes to support our practice as we make the changes from one system to Midex. The team are open to supporting these developments, so lets wait and see!

    It's been great. It was a bit aggravating during the changeover that some things about the way the system works were not made clearer, as I fully utilise the system and personalise it. Meant that I had to redo a lot of things but now it's up and running it's not a problem.

    Very easy to use and has lots of easy to use features once you get up and running. Love the bulk payments section.
    Cons:
    When typing, if caps lock on, it doesn't switch round as in word to make initial cap with lower case following. Can't duplicate a GP etc from another so you have to fill in a complete new dataset each time - really annoying. No self completing drop downs for addresses etc

    Reasons for switching to MidexPRO

    The above was not what I had but it didn't have PPM and it wouldn't let me leave it blank. Wanted something online so I didn't need to run a server. Also, wanted more functionality than was available.

    Excellent and an efficient service

    I have found MidexPRO to be extremely easy to use, makes my working day more efficient. Consultants are happier as they can access their database wherever they are (working in the NHS, abroad etc). The staff are very helpful and friendly, and will respond to any query in a timely fashion.

    There is nothing not to like. I wish I had found MidexPRO sooner!

    A couple of consultants had looked into MidexPRO and thought it would be beneficial. I trialled it with them, though it was an excellent product so introduced to further consultants and I am still advocating it.

    Speed and ease of use. Accessibility and support.
    Cons:
    The encryption. This is a niche concern probably only relating to letters sent to GPs - they don't like it. A lot of surgeries are advised not to click on a link.

    We were moving from a hospital who owned the licence - DGL made it prohibitively expensive for us to buy a licence and transfer data

    Excellent service, someone is always on the telephone when you need help, they are helpful and everything I have needed has always been sorted out for me.

    The system is easy to use to find patients and add documents etc. We had a new member of staff start last week and she has said how easy it is to use.
    Cons:
    The diary is difficult due to us having so many diaries and this means that double bookings can happen if lots of people try to book. I think it needs a little looking at to make it smoother for people who see patients in various locations. We have up to 4 hospitals with theatre bookings and clinic bookings. No 2 weeks are ever the same so this does make it a little complicated. Hopefully this can be looked at and made simpler somehow

    I looked at many companies whose names I cannot remember. MidexPRO were able to offer us what we needed and we were recommended them from another clinic. I spoke to the clinic involved and they have been with them years and were very happy.

    Reasons for switching to MidexPRO

    DGL we have been with for 20 years but the system was just a little old and did not offer all the products needed. We tried Medesk but were only with them 3 months as they were not at all suitable for our needs.
