It is very easy to use, there is a variety of exercises, with step by step descriptions, alongside clear and high quality images. Each exercise comes with a video, in which the client/ patient can watch before proceeding in executing it.

Cons:

I would suggest creating a patient profile, in which notes could be made during and after the face-to-face consultation. Thus, the therapist could not just plan the exercise programme, but also take notes while seeing the patient.

All exercises are text based and the user interface is no very dated, even though they have just rebranded. Very expensive when have multiple practitioners

Good program with lots available to users and clients

I am using Physiotec to provide clients with exercises, and give them tools to utilize for rehabilitation from injuries. It has been a useful tool and has a good suite of features that make program design easy, and accessible to the clients as well as you the practitioner.

Pros:

I like how easy it is to find a wide variety of exercises, and how simple it is to make templates that can be applied to client profiles. I also find the ability to print pages with different sized photos to provide clear direction to clients helpful. I find the grouped types of exercises helps keep the number of exercises focused towards the overall goal (strengthening, amputee, etc.) The online features for the client are easy to access, and they are well-tracked for the practitioner and client to see.

Cons:

It can be hard to find exercises at times as the titles of the exercises don't always show when searched for. When making a program, you cannot see the exercises you have added to the program while also searching for more. This would help make program design a bit easier on Physiotec

Physiotec is great for physiotherapists & kinesiologists

Physiotec has been great in both my kinesiology practice and my physiotherapy practice. I am now able to quickly make an exercise program that saves time and makes my patients happy.

Relatively easy to use, "favourite" option is a nice tool for frequently used exercises, the ability to add exercises including photos and videos is great, and patients love the email option.

Cons:

Sometimes it can be difficult to find exercises using key words but you usually get to know how the software works after some time. Adding an exercise into favourites is a good way around this.

Quality product at an affordable rate

The Physiotec staff is very knowledgeable about the product and they provide training for our clinicians at no additional monthly cost. Physiotec training and support is very easy to use and they provide quick response times.

It is easy to coordinate HEP for patients and provide written documentation for them to follow.

Cons:

It would be helpful if only exercise programs pertaining to the current case are listed in the drop down. We have patients now that have been here multiple times, and it is difficult to sort through 10-15 different past exercise programs to choose. Also, when an exercise program is created and we return to the Physiotec interface to save it, it would be nice if the "refresh" would automatically place the newly created program at the top of the list. This would avoid having to choose from the drop down menu, speeding up the workflow.

I enjoy the vast variety of exercises to pick from. I especially enjoy the pre-set templates to base the customized ones we are able to make off of. Once you get the hang of the ins and outs of the site it is very user friendly. Everything is so uniform and sleek on the end of the user/patient. The descriptions are awesome also, always reminding you to tuck your chin or hold yourself upright.

Cons:

I find that it is difficult to remember to exit the template you were working on. The thing is that it sort of throws you off when you go to open another one and they merge. I understand the importance of having it "open" to add to, but when you're just clicking around you may forget it is open. Also, putting in the numbers of the patients is a bit touchy.

Such a simple programme but with extensive outcomes. So many options and perfect end result. The video aspect for the patient is absolutely incredible. Wouldn’t change to another supplier as the customer support is faultless and very personal also.

Cons:

Nothing really, it has every feature that you could need. I think if anything, maybe having the feature to add your own logo if you change it, rather than needing to ask the admin staff to change it for you. But let’s be honest, I am clutching at straws with that one, as you simply send your new design to the exceptional staff and they sort it within an hour or too. Sorry, I really tried to find a fault with Physiotec but struggled!!
