About Practice EHR

Practice EHR, a medical practice management software, was developed to accommodate the needs of small to mid-size businesses. The platform is customizable to internal medicine practices, chiropractors, physical therapists, family medicine, podiatrists, psychiatrists and various other specialties.

Core features of Practice EHR include electronic medical records, medical billing, patient scheduling and medical billing services. These applications are available as part of one integrated suite. Electronic medical records are offered as a stand-alone feature for practices that need a simplified solution. Users can also have access to e-prescribing, lab integration, procedure workflows, narrative reports, tablet PC support, patient portals and ONC-ATCB certification. Eligibility inquiry, claim scrubbing, and workers’ compensation claims are offered for practices that choose to utilize the medical billing application.

Practice EHR is an entirely cloud-based solution. It is accessible via mobile devices and remote desktops.

Pros:

First and foremost, why we chose Practice EHR is that there is somebody who answers you whenyou call them and it is not automated. The support are very helpful friendly and nice. They really help me when I was learning billing. they were very patient and ready to help at all time.

Cons:

When I commit a mistake like enteed the wrong date of service and it s already billed, if I make corrected ckaim i have to create a ticket for them to change it. I would like if they can flag the last wellness/screening visit.

Does what you need it to do

Overall this program is ok. It doesn't do anything exceptionally well but does cover many things decently well.

Pros:

Somewhat easy to use program with a simple interface. Appointment scheduling is easy to learn and very customizable.

Cons:

Many glitches with the electronic prescribing feature. Not the best when you have patients with many medications. You have to individually send 1 at a time which can get tedious if there are more than 10.

User friendly and good to work with

It has been great. The support team we work with is responsive and helpful. They are constantly checking in to see how things are going. Texts and email reminders work great. The cost is wonderful.

The ease and user-friendliness of the system. It works well for what we need. The scheduling is easy. Patient charts are easy. Faxing items has gotten easier with updates.

Cons:

Some problems with saving consent forms and the kiosk struggles sometimes. The scheduling shouldn't show the overlapping like it does. It is a little confusing if you havent seen it and I do wish they would change that.

Don’t look anywhere else for the most comprehensive EHR

Excellent. There is some up front investment of time to learn, however this can be easily accomplished with the recorded training sessions to review

Pros:

The employees go above and beyond to make this a smooth transition into the EHR. The EHR is comprehensive, intuitive and makes it a breeze to manage all scheduling, billing and patient management tasks.

Cons:

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like. Due to unforeseen circumstances I was not able to continue with my practice. I am hoping my current employer will be open to changing EHR’s.

Daily Use

Customer service and support have been most helpful in all areas when needed. While the system is not perfect, it has many features that work well. I can see how for a direct medical practice this system would work very well. For a chiropractic clinic such as our own, it is functional. Hopefully as PEHR grows they will build more into the system to make it more chiropractic friendly.

Scheduling patients is easy and quick inside PEHR

Cons:

Billing is a multiple step process for our practice as we function just a bit differently from other practices. Molding PEHR to function for our specific practice has been the most time consuming. The team at PEHR has been responsive and helpful during this process.

Excellent EHR

We have been using them for over a decade and have had no issues. The transition process for our new providers is always so seamless because it is so user-friendly. Our providers love the EHR.
